The Movie Thread...

Goodbye Christopher Robin last night... it's a good one! But basically I like every movie I go to see, to hard to take my word for it!!!
I think this one would work best for folks with kids, but good for everyone. Bring the kids even!

I took my wife and son to the LA viewing a while back. I think my wife got tired of my Rebecca's Private Idaho stories but she was a trooper and went along. The film is stunning even for non-cyclists. After wiping away her tears, she had SO MANY questions about Rebecca and her race. Someday, I will return to enjoy the Sun Valley awesomeness (I'll even bring the wifey-poo)

Ha......guess I was too slow.
Synopsis:

"After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover"

Just finished watching this RedBull Media House documentary about the Queen of Pain, Rebecca Rusch and her quest to ride the Ho Chi Mihn Trail to the site where her father was shot down in Laos during the Vietnam war.

Thanks for that link! That was pretty awesome! My grandfather's helicopter went down during the war and was located back in 2002.. They flew my entire family out to Arlington for the service and it was good to see my dad and his siblings get a little closure on it.

I’ll never leave the house.
There's a movie about that!

I went and saw a star war... and liked it!

A lot better than Force Awakens. Some really great call backs to previous SW movies, but not a nostalgic movie by any means. The only part that's missing that just seems wrong is the lack of the 20th Century Fox fanfare in the beginning. In my mind, that was as much a part of Star Wars as the opening John Williams chords!

Go give Disney your money!
