Who's Riding Where???

My go to place for flags sold out of the high quality ones on Friday. Input requested....please reply..

1. get a nylon one from a big box store and change again soon
2. wait and change the flag later?

A nice, albeit fragile, flag, is better than a shredded one. I am not 100% following your train of thought, but if you see a crappy flag I would move ASAP to replace it with whatever you had on hand.

OMG I would so be into this... If I hadn't just ridden four days out of the last eight.

Tomorrow I will unfortunately be tiling my master bathroom floor. Not an emergency... until you realize that you have to tile the floor before you install your new master bathroom toilet... which in turn means you have to travel downstairs if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Have a great ride tomorrow!! I wish I could be there! (Plus I would grab you and we would do a Maple Springs / Motorway loop afterwards!)

Go Army! (I am the dude on the right)

Gonna drop car off (715 ish) for oil change..will come up Serrano toward Wahoos. Will look for u...two of us..Green Team Crash jersey.

Planning on Old Camp or part.. need miles!!

It takes 45 minutes to get through Whiting to the back side and over to Modjeska. Especially with the throngs of hikers o Borrego. You could start from Cook's at 8:30.

Whiting-Luge-Whiting is 16 miles and 2400'. I may be interested in heading towards Old Camp to my turn-around spot, making it an even 3000'. After hoisting the flag, that is.

White Audi Q5. Blue Pivot. Not sure what I'll be wearing. Maybe nothing but a smile and an American flag. :stop:

Wait - what do you mean coming up Serrano? What/where is Serrano? Do you mean the trail?

I'm riding tomorrow - a birthday ride. Mine.

Where? Not sure yet. Maybe B*-Motorway +. Maybe something else. Not too early, not too late. Probably a 7:30 or so start. Open to suggestions also.
You said you would ride a mile for each of your years. I'll give you the option of climbing 100 vertical feet for every one of your trips around the sun.

Probably gonna hit LCWP after @tbarnesarc installs my Luftencolinkapernicken tomorrow morning. I imagine we will be buttoning it up around 11:00, so maybe an 11:30 adventure.

Double loop - Willow, FL/ML, Lizard, Camarillo Stagecoach, Willow, T and A? Maybe throw Rattlesnake in there? Who knows. Sunny with forecast high of 75° for the area.

Wife and I checking out some new and old dirt NW of the big lake. Upper Deer Creek checks in at double black, must have a look at that and get the lass on some other sweet stuff over there. Low in the 20s but warming right up today.

Ride or rest hard, guys. Savor the day and share some love with your two- and four-legged people. : )

New Millennium. From home.
Nice, please report back. I probably shouldn't "say" this out loud, but with much of the discomfort and inflammation from my injury dying down, I'm giving some thought to trying to get in another ride or two before going under the knife. Just XC oriented stuff to get some miles in, and NM would be a good candidate if it has been cleared (would HAB the switchbacks out of precaution). Curious what the over growth report is. I heard that at least the LV downhill portion has been cleared.

You might want to try road biking Matt, it’s something. I even used a trainer for a few weeks pre and post surgery...just to avoid any further injury.

I agree with Sara. Don't go off road. The trail/dirt chatter may cause inflammation/sensitivity to return or increase. Ride smooth pavement.

If you want the dirt, hit the dirt and hit it hard...with the rubber! I put off surgery for 6 months and rode uninhibited except for one leg plant/buckle trying to chase Lenny of the Bomb Squad down Sidewinder one time at night. Don’t chase Lenny and you’ll be ok.
