Who's Riding Where???

My Specialized Element 1.0 cold weather gloves are supposed to be delivered today (yes, on TGD!). If they come today, I plan to test out my new cold weather undergarments/attire with a ride up to the snow on Mt. Lukens tomorrow.
Those gloves look like they will work great! All the gloves I've found have been to bulky to do the same job. I guess I'm not looking hard enough. I ride in $5.99 gloves from Harbor Freight. :gotnothing:

Mt. High - two planks or one. I'll decide when I get there. Friday morning 11/29.

EDIT: NOPE! Car loaded, heading out the door. One last check for updates on Mt. High website...

138 still closed until 10 am. Ski area expected to open at 10:00. Change of plans. But hey, they do plan to stay open until 10 pm. :sneaky:

Rain event last night in Mesa AZ led to partly sunny weather. Read: it’s perfect.

Repetition be damned, I’m taking the weaz out to Pass Mountain Trail tomorrow. A great place to test suspension and technique, as full value as a 7-mi mountain circumnavigation can be. Numerous sublime vistas, tricky rock negotiating on ST with some failure penalty potential. Check Trailforks.

Holler if you’d like to join. Social/safe pace. Like to hike up to Wind Caves from the car for x-credit. Wind Caves TH as shown on Trailforks; whatever time works.

I learned to ski night skiing at Mt High a lifetime ago....

It's raining again here, adjacent to Knott's Berry Farm. Methinks the FLoop is out as a destination por la mañana.

We've gotten over 2 inches of rain here. The totem pole on Maple Springs is over 4 inches.

Just saw this. Hope you had a good ride. I still had family in town so sunday is going to be my riding day. I might do Sonoran preserve north and south or head down and do trail 100 7th ave to Tatum and back.
