Who's Riding Where???

What's the scoop for Palm Canyon through next weekend? I hear rumblings and get cryptic text messages and observe a lot of activity on Crazy Bear's website...but nothing posted on iMTB's navel.

I have 11/30 open because my wife loves to take care of the toddler and nursing infant simultaneously without my help. She also really appreciates washing my chamois after 40 miles and 8 hours in the saddle.

Any safe riders out there?

Its likely going to get dumped on by snow in the higher reaches. Cold storm arriving mid week next. Expect a wet Thanksgiving in the lower elevations.

We have a group going up with CB on Dec 7th. I think there are some open seats. Our group will be spread out with some psychos going warp speed and others straggling 10 minutes back. We re-group at the major intersections. @pperrelle and @pdqmach26 are two others from the board that will be there.

Ok you fat tire junkies. Yes watching the weather up top. As of this morning it is forecast for about 8" of snow. That much would really put a damper on the fast rocky section off the top. Still watching and will make a decision in a couple days. Also 3/4 of an inch of rain in Cathedral City, Wed and Thurs. I would not want to get caught in a flash flood up there:confused:. It will be freezing at the top and probably snowing at 9A.M.

I think the Bomb Squad is mobilizing for a [covert] Black Friday mission.

Sounds delightful! I'll wear warm socks.

I was about to post up a 5:30am Palm Canyon shuttle on Saturday, but Monkey Piss started it and backed out within a few days. I told them the trail isn’t sandy. Now I gotta find another ride.
