I hate that you love living here. Why don't you join the rest of the group and start hatin' on CA because it's so awful?Yeah, I like OC. Nice temp, and sunny almost all day in my area this time of year.
When I lived a few blocks from the beach in Costa Mesa the only thing that took getting used to was the sky being overcast so often, but being a few blocks from the beach more than made up for it. Now that I'm no longer in CM, I have more sun and only a few blocks from the Mtb trails, so a win in my book.
Get those post ride refreshments ready, a nice cold beer should hit the spotWell, I looked at the temps starting Thursday and for the following 12 days minimum, daytime is 100° + .
Let the 6am rides begin.
I don't. I just sit inside and type insightful (inciteful? insipid?) comments on IMTB! It's my duty.I can't see how you ride/surf is such terrible weather.
You beach boys are spoiled rotten.
Good luck with your comfort plan. Smoothie made with frozen fruit lowers the core temp significantly.
Humidity kicks my ass as well, but not as much as heat and elevation.I was planning on Big Bear one day this weekend .... interesting that it will be 92 & 91 Sat & Sun in Big Bear at 7,000ish feet, and 83 & 84 in Costa Mesa near sea level.
Significantly less humid up there though, about 50-60% less and it is the humidity that kills me.

You'll be fine as long as you start early.LOL, yeah I am rethinking that trip to Big Bear. I was hoping to escape the heat this weekend. Good thing I looked at the weather.
