View attachment 10733 I didn't ride because my baby was being pampered at my LBS, but just got it back, one they before the scheduled date.

I had to go pick up my bike from The Path yesterday (... f'me but XTR parts are expensive, damnit), and today I'm flying to Austin till Friday. So I won't even get to try out my new dialed in bike till the weekend - and the wife has claimed Saturday too! Gonna be looking for bigger Sunday rides!
I did ride it up and down the street briefly and ALL the noise is gone from my bike. No creaks, no squeaks, no chain noise at all. After living with small amounts of all of that for the past 500 miles or so, that's a welcomed thing. Also, a new front tire should be fun
Sooooooo.....technically, you did ride your bike today.

I made a new route in Strava that you might be interested in...
I saw that yesterday.....Good elevation gain per mile.
About 36 miles / 6500'
It hits all the fun stuff... Harding, UHJ if you want, The Wall, Trabuco... And you can optionally hit O'Neill and Whiting instead of the road to get back. I don't think I'll try this one single speed just yet.
I'll give you 2 weeks to train. Then Harding/SJ.
That's one little sick green guy for each of the nasty climbs.

I'm intrigued. Harding to Trabuco is much more palatable than Harding to San Juan (and back). UHJ isn't in great shape, but descending Trabuco is a blast.
Not sure if the wife had a 6-8hr ride in mind when she said look for Sunday rides.
