I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

Didn't ride this morning b/c I was tired b/c my younger son kept waking up (weak excuse I know but my wife started working) and I don't ride tired as one small mistake can be costly...

However, I may try another night ride tonite, maybe...

So I did end up riding tonite I feel better

Thx....the meds themselves actually are not an issue....I actually do feel better since I got on them.
There are natural ways to lower your blood pressure. I'm sure you have looked . . . right? Coconut Water for one . A lot of pre surgery info states to refrain from Coconut water prior to surgery due to that very reason .

I will do anything to prevent taking pharmaceuticals:bang:. They only treat the symptoms in my opinion:unsure:. Plus, the side effects can be as damaging if not MORE damaging then what they are intended for.:cautious:

Okay . . . . . I've calmed down.:);)

Good to know....this is the first time in my life I have had the need to take meds. Hell, this was the first time I had been to the doctor for something other than injury in almost 20 years. Wasn't happy about it....but kinda knew it was coming.

I had to get my blood pressure down for a DOT physical. I started taking a couple table spoons of apple cider vinegar with "mother" in orange juice (just for taste) twice a day. Needless to say, within a few days my BP was low enough to pass the test. Now I take 2 spoon fulls a day and have been feeling much better. My tension headaches are gone.

I'm only on 5mg daily.
Any side effects with the lisinopril? I was on it for a couple of years and it really messed me up on my rides especially if I was exposed to the sun. I finished a ride one day and my blood pressure was 80/50. I almost passed out. I'm now on enalapril maleate. No side effects whatsoever. Family genetics here as well. I have cardiomyopathy so I take it to keep my blood pressure lower than normal.

Arrived at work 7:30am. Home from work 10:15pm. Couldn't quite find time to ride in there. Perhaps tomorrow. Thank you Veterans!
You're welcome!
