As for me, ortho appt yesterday says, "Nope, two more months..." Mellow riding around is okayed, but I specifically asked about mountain biking and he said the bones aren't set yet. Big piece on top is still poking out to the side, and little butterfly on the bottom is floating around still.

So, at least I can sorta start posting in the "I ROAD my bike today" thread...

I didn't ride my bike today, because the wife and I were at the DMV adding one more crazed teenager to the streets of California.

And then we stopped at the new outlet mall... New riding shorts and shoes! Woo-Hoo! :thumbsup:

I have been hitting the trainer and elliptical all week, though. I should (hopefully) survive mtnbikej's ride this weekend. :sick:
 
Spent the day watching other people ride their bikes at the Jumpstart Classic at Kern County Raceway. Pretty fun day, but I was there to work. Will get a ride in tomorrow.
 
I didn't ride because I have no bike...just sold my old Trek Fuel in hopes of raising capital for brand new shiny 29er...price range is in mid 1000's. Want hardtail for sure. Looking at Trek Superfly 6, x Caliber 9 or Cannondale FSI Alloy 2...there is also an Orbea H50 on my list. Thoughts?
 
Well it's been almost 2 weeks now and still no shock for my bike. :mad: I have been told over and over it will be here tomorrow. :poop: They say the fox tracking number shows it getting their tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. :rolleyes: If it does happen to show up there it is supposed to be at my door Thursday so I might make it back on my bike this weekend. As I have said before I'm not holding my breath, but it does have me looking for a new bike all together. :whistling: The only problem is I have been out of the game for so long now I have no idea what is good and what's not.

These days....it's hard to go wrong with anything from the mainstream manufacturers.
 
Didn't ride my bike today... But I worked on it! Well, on Cathy's bike as well.
Ordered some parts from my favorite place JensonUSA.
Replaced my shock bushings, rear shifter cable and housing, also replaced Cathy's rear Ice Tech rotor and pads as it was cooked!
Ready for a ride tomorrow and some epic adventure yet unknown over the holiday weekend. ;)
