any idea if the amazon rotors are the standard 1.8 mm thickness?
So this doesn’t fit my bike. The eyelet at the stanchion has the fancy bearings instead of bushings, and they won’t clear my seat tube where they connect to the seat stay junction. Anyone wanna buy this?I gots me an air shock for the SquiggleBug for the days I need to haul her along with the SS hardtail crew. This will reduce significant weight and result in a cumulative increase in efficiency; the longer the ride, the greater the gains. I’m curious to see how she descends on an air shock vs the coil. The allure of a squiggly MTB is tangible in my head, but the feeling after 5,000’ of climbing kinda offsets the pure coolness factor of featuring a coil shock.

Chain Reaction Cycles won’t ship this item to the USA, so I am fortunate that my neighbor Sam of Strava KOM snatching E-bike 29x2.6 super knobby Zeb fork coil shock riding helmet crushing concussion serving when chasing down a precipice fame is in Worcestershire until Thursday to receive the item and bring it to me at half of MSRP. Wooo!
The SquiggleBug will become the FluffyBug next weekend.

And you’ll be waiting 3 months for a new batteryI believe they are... I went to measure and my caliper battery is dead.
Looks like I’m gonna have to swap out the damper body. Why not swap the bearing out for a different bushing?

Yea. The piggy back hits the frame and the bearings don’t fit the other mount either. The saga continues.Crazy question…did you try mounting it upside down?

I bought a set of the cheapie 180mms. I'd like to get some XTs, but hard to justify the difference in cost.

All in Team Corki!
did someone say corgi?u get the Corki's?
I now have the red Corkis on the single speed as well as the Moxie... I'm a believer. @SnakeCharmer and I bailed out on a ride the other day in the fog and rain. We ended up taking the Mount Lowe pavement to get off the mountain. 3 1/2 miles and 2000 feet down in the wet. Brakes made a little wet squeal the first time I used them, and then were silent the rest of the trip. If they had behaved like some of the brand name rotors I've used, I would have been deaf by the bottom.
Miles Racing pads and Corki floating rotors for the win!

Update after a few rides, the Amazon CYSKY rotors seem to work great, and arrived nice and trueI ended up getting the CYSKY rotors on Amazon. PSA looks like they bought up avid's g3 clean sweep rotors and selling em for $20 per pair , have avid logo and markings
“Cheap” is soooooo non definitive…Any suggestions on comparable cheap 2nd bike similar to hardtail w/ 140mm in front?
I put my name down for a Canyon Stoic... I need something that I can ride on the fullerton loop and the main divide and still have some fun.. The ripmo gets tiring after 3000 feet of climbing...
But the wait has been over 4 months, now they say summer of next year...
Any suggestions on comparable cheap 2nd bike similar to hardtail w/ 140mm in front?
Just the bike I was thinking about as well, depending on one's definition of affordable. These days, it's hard not to consider that affordable for a whole bike. And I didn't go back and check, but I'm fairly certain they say 140 - 160 is all good.
Well , I learned my lesson about cheapish off brand Amazon cassettes:For those looking for cassettes in stock, maybe take a look at Bibikes’ cassettes on Amazon. Couple months ago I reeeally needed a new 11-50 11 speed cassette and chain, my go-to is sun-race for cassettes, but they were unavailable everywhere with no ETA. I noticed there are a new crop of sellers on Amazon, taking advantage of the shortages and selling their own chains and cassettes. I didn’t trust the chains and managed to find an sram chain, but took a chance on the $56 bibike cassette with all steel cogs (yes, heavy, I don’t care, and they make other versions). So far so good, shift well with no backpedal chain drop and should last forever being steel. However looks like they have more options in hg and microspline than xd.

One of the cogs completely detached from the rivets and spins freely, never had that happen before. Sucks because the steel teeth still have hardly any wear it seems. Any of the real players make an all-steel 11speed 11-50 HG cog stack that’s reasonably priced?
