Who's Riding Where???

Confirmed for a 8:30 start to hit up 007 section 1 and 2 tomorrow. The owner of one of the bike shops in Oakhurst is going to go along and see how my suspension is working. Based on what a speedster I am, it won't be working much.....
Rain is supposed to start tomorrow afternoon and Thursday is the 1-2 inches of rain followed by snow for 2or 3 days after.
This may be the last ride of the season up there.

Missed this, thanks for posting that, pretty cool. I've read some of the online accounts of spooky stuff in Blackstar, it all sounds pretty innocuous. I recall readying onetime about a line of "ghost lights," being seen up on a ridge and thinking, well, that's probably just a bunch of people riding at night.
Still, I love stuff like this.

Bro, if you are scared of spiders how are you going to handle ghosts and Sh!t? :Roflmao
This might be your funniest post ever.

I'm headed over to Wahoos or Cook's Corner for either a double Luge loop or a Whiting Luge loop. @Lost Kiwi tells me Whiting is open, but their website hasn't gotten the message yet. Pedaling around 10:30 if any of you retirees and/or independently wealthy and/or unemployed OC riders care to join me.

Thanks to Mr. Lincoln, I have the day off.

Oh - all of this is pending a trial run of my hip before I load up my bike.

Presidents Day is next week fella, you sure you're not supposed to be at work?? :D
Gate on Glen Ranch is open and cars are in the parking lot, I take that to mean open for business.
Unfortunately last time I checked I'm still employed, no chance I can sneak away for Whiting and the Luge but I may try and catch you on the Luge portion.

Whiting is closed. At least the barricaded parking lot, “park closed” sign and two ranger trucks at the Borrego trailhead lead me to believe that!

loading the bike back onto car and driving over to Cooks. Unless I have to go rescue my wife who seems to be having car trouble.
Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing? Like I told you Glen Ranch parking lot is wide open with cars in the parking lot. Went past the entry to Concourse at lunchtime and the closed signs there have been taken down as well. In fact there were 3 riders climbing back out when I went past.
Maybe they've just closed Borrego? I've seen them do that before.

*Edit* - Just checked the website

Came back from Tahoe and there's snow everywhere in Prescott. Reports are that the Thumb Butte area has snow depths of up to 20" in some areas sooooooooo.......it's off to PHX for a 5 day weekend of sorts. @pperrelle We'll probably ride the race loops at McDowell on Saturday, Gold Canyon on Sunday and South Mountain on Monday if any of that interests you.
