Who's Riding Where???

Thank you Mr. Spiritual Guide! Are you enjoying the semantic dismantling of my humorous quip?

My point was about why exposure scares me, not about whether "crossing over" is painful or not. I am not interested in hastening my departure or facing serious injury due to unnecessary bicycle-based hubris. Those of us who know action sports understand that there is safety in confidence and commitment - until confidence turns to (YouTube inspired?) hubris. That threshold differs for each individual, and probably differs from day to day and place to place.

In the act of dying, absolutely! At the time of death, that momentary period between being alive and dead, aka, "death", the soul and or conscious state of being, experiences its first sense of relief from misery.

This was my experience. The act of dying itself was painless, however the hours/days preceding it, for me, were true misery.
Obviously I'm now among the living thanks to modern medicine, and have found Mtb and bikes for me are one of the true joys in life.
And also, be sure to often tell those you love that you care, as you never know what will come.

Ohhh Grasshopper, you misunderstood. My efforts were meant to align and enhance yours. Did they not?

We must take into account that thousands upon thousands of turkeys died for the cause. Turkey lives matter.

This a cycling community, not a black and white, all serious, all the time racer's club. Expect other aspects of personalities and humanity as well.
Agreed. See? I can agree with Snake! And @Obsidian and I can banter back and forth too, without anyone getting hurt in the process.

Oh and I am not riding anywhere today. My knee hurts and I need to do the work I've been putting off. Looking forward to reports from those who ride today!

Evidently I'm riding Aliso on Saturday, according to @Obsidian. I did concede the race up Mathis already, but he still may put my claim that I actually ride my bike once in a while to the test. Weekend mornings at Aliso are a clusterfuck, so it's best to start after 10 am. High of 65 after midweek rain sounds pretty good.

You are riding a lot more than me lately! I need some sort of manufactured motivation to start getting out more. :Roflmao
