Who's Riding Where???

Mebbeee…

Last time I replaced the flag (Veterans Day 2020) someone stole it and replaced it with a smaller, cheaper flag.

I think I rode with you on the second half of that ride. Fukin bastards. I would hate to ever come off as a Sh!t talker, but if I had witnessed someone taking down a perfectly good Flag for a cheaper version ... do not record. My tell is when I smile.

Looks like the cheapie couldn't handle Sundays gentle breeze. No sign of it.

If you blokes manage to cobble together a lap or two I will stay sober enough the night before to participate.

I am down. I do not know where to get a Flag other than Amazon, but happy to donate some Venmo $$.

I will also not pass up an opportunity to try and learn something from @Lost Kiwi down the Luge.

As much as I hate group rides ... perhaps this should be a thing. :cautious:

Forecast low tonight took a dive, so I revised tomorrow's route to include a bunch of ascending in the first 20 miles. It'll be glorious, nobody around for hours.

What y'all got? It's a holiday, time to celebrate. :sneaky::thumbsup:

I was about to go hit the trails right about now (7 am) but got to thinking "everybody who owns a bike or a pair of hiking shoes will be out this morning pre-assuaging their Thanksgiving Day meal guilt." Sooooo - since I am not going anywhere or doing anything fancy for T-Giving today, I will wait until later to ride, when all the other turkeys have begun their meal preparations or local traveling.

So maybe around 11:00 am, unless the winds are ridiculous. LCWP. Who's in?

I will, after 4 weeks of not riding any bike, be riding Saturday or Sunday. Taking the SS out because it's easier to HAB than the Mach 6....
Probably do Hensley Lake or Central Camp road (fireroad) up at Bass Lake something easy to get my body kick started.

How is 5-Oaks right now? Last time I rode it - maybe two months ago - it was a disastrous blend of ruts, braking bumps and 6" silt. I am guessing it hasn't really improved.
It wasn’t too bad I guess…or maybe I’m cynically getting used to the endless drought-shitty conditions and have forgotten what good dirt even looks like. Maybe the rain a month ago helped. I haven’t hit it in a while and looks like some work was done, especially that problem left turn, now a berm paved with natural rocks. Moondust seemed better than last time I rode it in..September?
