Who's Riding Where???

Mine are carbon titanium ceramic - they actually have a negative weight value and speed up the rotation of the wheel. You could see it if you followed me climbing, at least for a little while until a slowly pulled away from you due to the aerodynamic and rotational advantages. It's science!

PLUS - all that air that leaks out from not having stem caps on stays in your tires with VSCs in place.
I've seen some exaggerations before but this one is a real whopper!

Keeping all the extra air in the tires adds rotating weight. Tires can be pumped up when needed.

A quickie at Hensley Lake before it gets hot. Then yardwork in the heat......
Didn't get to beat the heat......almost beat the heart. Too much time in the upper limit.

My friends through-hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail inspired a riding route around the Lake: All the Rim Trail possible in one lap.

1 Starts at "twelve o'clock," at Martis Peak and goes CCW on TRT etc from Mount Rose Wild. boundary to Desolation Wild. bdry to Idlewild CA. 49/7,100
2 Road ride from Idlewild to Big Meadow TH including resupply in Meyers CA. 33/1,170
3 Rim Trail etc from Miess Meadow section to Tahoe Meadows. 72/11,500
4 Trail and road to connect back to Martis TRT. 18/1,800

171 mi/21,560' total – bikepacking to most of us. I'm planning to bivy once a little past halfway. Some new dirt for me in the first section. In my backyard, no excuse to not get out there...

Thanks to everyone for the good thoughts for our kittykat. :notworthy::) She is showing some hints of progress! I’ve seen cats make some amazing recoveries, and I hope this is another one. Cautiously optimistic.

Why post this here?? Because… it means a morning therapy sesh with some new dirt.

Happy Friday!!!!!!
