Who's Riding Where???

Maybe Luge. Maybe LCWP, probably nowhere though. Got to go see Dad. Rumors of his death last weekend were greatly exaggerated.

EDIT: I did neither. Wife took forever to get home from her errands. We headed for SD around 3:45 - which was 2 hours after we intended. The traffic was backed up from Oceanside to San Clemente, so we turned around and will re-set for tomorrow.

I WILL ride my bike tomorrow (Sunday) morning. Double Luge or LCWP.
:thumbsup::thumbsup: 4 the Dad news

Just realized what you were getting at, reading back through stuff. This kinda stuff sucks. Been there, done that. At least with mine it was sudden and not drawn out. Not much I can say but condolences.

Desert View Conservation Area (Joshua Tree/Section 6) tomorrow morning. Gonna ride Sidewinder trail for some black diamond tech, among other trails out there.

Then, SARA Park in Lake Havasu City on Monday morning. Expanded Watershed loop. Gonna add in the new outer loop trail called High Voltage, as well.

Saturday morning will probably find me at the bottom of GMR, with the vague notion of riding up to Mt Baldy Village, up to Sunset Peak, back down GRR and descending MTT. That is my plan. It is written in sandstone, and the winds are blowing. I will be on the Sutra, of course....:gotnothing::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Or, wait! There's GMR to East Fork and up Shoemaker through both tunnels. That's a maybe also.

Decisions, decisions.

Bring a wind sail, just in case.

Please report back wind conditions on upper GMR and Sunset Peak.

If you are asking about the jumps on waterworks then no, they got taken out a month or so back according to @Danimal

I dont known this first hand, but was told that they in fact were taken out by the parks department. Along with a few unauthorized trails being removed that I do have first hand knowledge of.
Anyone that even remotely follows the legitimacy of trail building inOC saw this coming.

The jump and trail building has been been getting completely out of hand. IMO if they had kept it to just a small number of trails and such they would have been ignored.

Rode waterworks and spitfire yesterday. There are jumps at waterworks. There is a sign that states that the rider is jumping at their own risk. Some jumps have been leveled, others have been moved, and a few are larger than a few months ago. The berms on spitfire were vastly improved. Starting to get brake bumps and ruts now, but for a couple of weeks they were flow-worthy.

Wow that's even shorter notice than a @Mikie invite

That's one way to keep the number of riders down
Strangely, I had a taker!

I will be doing LCWP tomorrow from the canyon. So how's that for ample notice! I just have no clue what time. I kinda want to avoid the morning clusterf**k, but I also don't want to shoot the whole day. Willow - Fenceline - Lizard - Laurel Spur - BVD - Em Cyn - T and A. About 2000' of climbing.
