Who's Riding Where???

I'm riding the couch as I fast in prep for a medical procedure which I will have to endure every 5 years for the rest of my life... :gag:
Hey @DangerDirtyD! I thought penetration was frowned upon!
Do what you have to. Before you go under, tell them about your mountain biker friend who woke up in the middle of the gawddam procedure long enough to say What the fuk??!? Might get the anesthesiologists't attention. To good outcomes and 5 years of bliss! :)

They say you can stay awake if you try. No thanks. Just let them do what they gotta do. I just close my eyes and wait for the warm fuzzy feelings, then next thing you know...
Braaaaap! I'm ripping like I just had Taco Bell, without the juice!

Gonna take the beast out to LCWP tomorrow (Saturday Nov. 2). Gotta try it on the switchbacks of Camarillo and Stagecoach to see how the long 29er manages tight spaces and to see if I can muscle it up the three short steep climbs on Stagecoach. Join me, or wish me luck.

Don't forget to set your clocks back Saturday night. Goodbye evening light. :(

I hear the Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway finally connected at Floriston. If she goes I’ll hit a side lap on (trail name).

@herzalot, YMMV, but I found wheel size, even wheelbase and bike size, matters less in tight turns than would be expected. From Bronson to Czar I felt about same. From Czar to Smash I surpassed what I was doing on either bike. I think it’s more about geo and carrying momentum. The weez is grooving on 29er after a mere few rides...noted the nice rollover and feels more confident in any chunky terrain, including switchbacks. My guess is you will quickly adapt to the wheel size (read: entire bike), and in tight turns you’ll feel more in your bike rather than on top and crush everything you ever could and more.
