Even though the storm hasn't come up this far yet. Lake Forest that is. There has already been some flash floods up in Tehachapi.
Only about a 100 miles north.
Watch out for the outer bands.

My personal belief... In quite simple terms:

If your long time friend (and forum owner) has repeatedly asked you not to Sh!t in his living room, you should respect that. It's his living room. He owns it. He sets the rules in his house. The whole common decency and personal property thing come to mind. If you can not refrain from shitting in your friend's living room, go hang out with those who will allow you to do so.

In other news ... The Hurricane has hit Orange County! I have friends and family from other states messaging me and asking if I am OK.

It is drizzling. No wind.

We won’t even hit the OC, we live in Bakersfield, so the 15 to Barstow to Tehachapi to Bako. So dessert the whole way home.

We came home down the 5 yesterday (yea 12 hour drives!)
There were some serious squalls before Bako that were near white-out level, and a ton of lightning.

Thankfully, the squalls were short duration. The lightning combined with the heavy metal station out of Fresno made it more entertaining.
