Thanks Mike! In a strange way I’m actually learning to appreciate this new found fear and using it to be a more cautious and calculated rider than I was before
This means that you are now a much better rider!

Is it our destiny to never ride together again? We are so Yin/Yang! You hate everything I like and vice versa! The universe needs us to be together! If you back out I might back in. Save me a spot.
I hope so! Thanks @hill^billy ! Did you move out of state??This means that you are now a much better rider!
I’ve paid and gotten my pass...it’s on MrWait - "Yeah buddy" you will back out if I join in? or "Yeah Buddy" - please join us?
OK, OK, OK - the FOMO is getting to me. I'll check schedules and the haul pass ledger. How many of you will back out if I join in?

Someday thenNo but sadly I want to!
HB, swing a visit to Truckeestan CA and you could gain a little appreciation of the golden state. I know a guide who works cheap. Drop thru Nevada for the cheap gas. Bring your trailer and stay awhile, it's the season. No but sadly I want to!
I did I suck OK! Sorry. I’ll fix it when I get home.
I'm a definite maybe. But if I go, I am not driving home the same night. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. And I am NOT re-enacting John Candy and Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.Anyone in the OC or nearby who has room and wants company for the drive?
Looking to carpool with someone. @herzalot, you going and want someone to go with you?
“Those aren’t pillows”I'm a definite maybe. But if I go, I am not driving home the same night. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. And I am NOT re-enacting John Candy and Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

I'm glad you didn't think I was joking! Summer crowds are mostly gone, trails just melted out, good camping/lodging options of all types abound. Thanks Mike, I am seriously considering this, Tom de Bomb had mentioned you offered the same to him and we just talked about it.
lets see 9*5=45 which equals a free ticket to the Canadian and he leaves a 5 spot tip. That’s just the “I’m coming with Mikie Watson” special rate.
I am very interested and will have a definite answer tonight. I am scheduled to do the Mammoth Gran Fondo the same day, but this sounds worlds more fun. I am just waiting on my wife to decide if she would rather camp in Mammoth or in Kernville. If I do the Plunge I will definitely camp and probably arrive Fri., for some riding maybe Just Outstanding and camp until Sun. afternoon. Beers and Whiskey always sound great with chilling/camping in the mountains.Cautiously in! I can ride anywhere (I think) but am slow doing so. So an A and B group pace would be cool as I want to enjoy the ride w/out holding the rabbits up.
Camping options around there? Group camp, cookout, farting, and consumption of beers and whiskey seems like a natural for this one.
Keyesville rec area is just down the road if nothing there.

I think I might be able to get the nice car from my spouse, which means I can take three more if anyone is interested in carpooling. Probably going up the 15 to 395, so IE peeps. Planning on camping Friday and Saturday nights, although hopefully having some access to someone's shower would be great!
Power to your wallet...
Max capacity (2 Vans)Just went on the site and the shuttle for the Cannell Plunge states a minimum of 6 shuttles and a max of 18. Not sure if that is for one shuttle vehicle or their max capacity for the day.
I have a 30 foot trailer. If we can work out the camping thing and we find a site with hookups, all are welcome to use my shower. Both inside or outside the trailer whatever is preferred. There are a couple nice sites right along the river, only problem is a couple require 5 night minimum stay. I will research more.
