Sweet.....then I'm in the 2 out of 10 that didn't.
April 2020, beginning of the lockdown, my Toyota C-HR was heavily discounted. July last year, we paid MSRP for the Titan. I'm okay with that.

No car-shaming, but I can't wrap my head around paying a $2,300 premium for a Kia.April 2020, beginning of the lockdown, my Toyota C-HR was heavily discounted. July last year, we paid MSRP for the Titan. I'm okay with that.

I am now of the opinion that Teslas are the new Subarus which were the new Priusus. It used to be if there was a slow-ass car holding up traffic on the two-lane road I drive to work, nine out of 10 times it would be a Subaru. Before that it was always a Prius crawling along and slowing ME down. Now it seems like Teslas are the go-to cars for the Slow AF Driving Club (SAFDC). Obviously confirmation bias is at play, but whenever I get behind a Tesla, I just sigh and resign myself to getting there slower than I want to. I get to drive behind them seeing that Dual Motor badge up close and personal... why don't they take advantage of all those horses they paid for???? Change my mind!

Here's a Subie holding everyone up, hitting the brakes through that tight curve! I'm sure their previous car was a Prius, but they needed AWD in case it snows. Saving up for a Tesla.

When we were shopping back in 2020, the Tellurides were priced $10,000 over MSRP for "Market Adjustment"No car-shaming, but I can't wrap my head around paying a $2,300 premium for a Kia.

Weird to live in a world where you pay a premium for Hyundai too.No car-shaming, but I can't wrap my head around paying a $2,300 premium for a Kia.

CJ and I bought a Honda CR-V here in Arkansas (Yeah, I know, it's not an Audi, Porsche, or any your fancy schmancy cool cars). Bought early in January. The dealership had a total of 1 car on the lot in the class we were seeking. We went to lunch and told them we would think about it. 45 minutes later they called and said they sold it. (He did call us and warn us but we thought they were just posturing us. lol! Nope!)No car-shaming, but I can't wrap my head around paying a $2,300 premium for a Kia.
We ordered it in Sonic Grey Pearl. This is just a random pic off the Webbie.

In fact all the dealerships we have been to have one maybe two cars on the lot. The Fayetteville Subaru has only test drive vehicles and then they order every car purchase. All of them out here have had to add some Dealership upgrades to overcome the selling price of used vehicles. Kinda like paying premium above used car prices. It's ridiculous!
So we had to order our car and it's "supposed" to be here mid March some time. Yeah... Wow.

I better not show that to the missus, she wants a Giulia. To be honest I'd find it hard to say no to a quadriformaggio, 505hp and damn is it a good looking car .Alfa bringing down the average though
