That I think that's accurate....That would be my guess. He has gone soft.

Full bike for less than a NukeProof. Although it turned out to be an expensive bottle of chain lube!I think @herzalot changed careers and is now a Dentist. Just a thought...
Front range LA and Palm Canyon are chunky right now.Full bike for less than a NukeProof. Although it turned out to be an expensive bottle of chain lube!
I jokingly said, "got any mid travel 29ers you're looking to unload at a ridiculous price?" Well - there was this frame on the wall and a number thrown at me. Suddenly I'm back on Yeti.
And it's not replacing the Revel - just a placeholder until I can get back to riding the trails that make the Rail happiest! But for Whiting-STT, Wrightwood, San Juan, Holy Jim, Skyline, Front Range LA, Palm Canyon and anything else I would be riding these days, I don't need a 165mm mullet.
Looking forward to throwing the Rail down Laguna gnar soon though - maybe next spring or summer. After my new titanium body parts are installed.
Cool! So if you still had your Smash, would that be your weapon of choice for Mt. Lowe, MM, Sunset and El Prieto?Front range LA and Palm Canyon are chunky right now.
It fits into that new class of mountain bikes, "Super-Gnarly-Down-Country".I’m confused… is it a SB buck40 with a Fox 38?
The Smash is gone? Say it isn't so @DangerDirtyD .Cool! So if you still had your Smash, would that be your weapon of choice for Mt. Lowe, MM, Sunset and El Prieto?
I would select the biggest bike in my stable, which is the Smash @buggravy .Cool! So if you still had your Smash, would that be your weapon of choice for Mt. Lowe, MM, Sunset and El Prieto?
EDIT: Actually, maybe you still have the Smash...
I hear there’s a sale @PlanetCyclery if you still trust the bars. Was it a crash, or did a gnat land on your cockpit while climbing?
So you drove a roof-mountain MTB into a building?I’m currently waiting for REI to open in Rancho Cucamonga to buy a new rack.
Did you not read my post? The bike fell off my car at 80 mph. Well the front half did anyway.I hear there’s a sale @PlanetCyclery if you still trust the bars. Was it a crash, or did a gnat land on your cockpit while climbing?

18 year old Thule T2 broke at 80 mph on the 91. Far left lane. Had to drag the bike behind me across 6 lanes to get to the shoulder.
Only broke the handlebar and scratched the stem beyond use. Scratched the brake levers a little. No other dents or scratches or broken parts anywhere. Friggin’ miracle. If it had fallen off completely it would have caused a multiple car pile up for which I would have been liable.

The part that clamps over the front wheel ejected. See the empty hole. It was securely locked in position when I left home.

My bad, I didn't see the text below the photo while browsing on my phone. Seems like all things considered, it's a positive outcome, and you got to meet my nephew and fabulous red headed sister.Did you not read my post? The bike fell off my car at 80 mph. Well the front half did anyway.

Me too! That would have been disastrous. But I’m still amazed that I could drag a bike on the freeway and not experience severe and total damage. Handlebar, stem and grips. That’s it.Glad your bike did not fall all the way off and onto the freeway!
Sick looking Yeti @herzalot congrats dude!
Yay, just as sexy as last night.Back in business…
