New Bike Day!

Union Pacific, Kaiser Steel, Norton AFB... they made the IE, now all gone (UP sorta' still there but most work moved out).

Of course the air was so foul you could see it and the water table is forever polluted, but hey, different conversation there!

Norton in the distance... I don't think it would have been visible from 1940 to 1990.

As a public school employee, we are constantly encouraging gender transformation - and handing out tampons in boys restrooms. Just like Fox News and @Obsidian said we were doing!

(That's sarcasm)

You work in a high rent school district so might be immune to a lot but I ride/snowboard with (2) guys that teach at a lower income high school (Vista High School in San Diego County). When I was still living in Oceanside, I knew one of the Sheriff's deputy's that was assigned there (full time, never left) and the stories they tell me about what the kids get away with....and what they are allowed to do about it is scary, scary stuff.

Nope. 65% of my student population are low SES. Not too far behind Vista's 76%. I don't work where I live.

That said, my local district is far more likely to push an aggressive social agenda than my work district. And the kids in my low-SES work district are much nicer and less devious than the students in the upscale District where I live.
