Music... I Listened to Some

I'm just going to toss this thought out there for my fellow Deadheads.

Isn't Dead and company just the Grateful Dead with a pop star as the front man? I don't get why grateful dead fans are so excited about that. It's like if Black Flag had Britany spears front them would you be stoked?

I would imagine that it's mostly because two of the original Dead are in the band. People are grateful for that.

Gonna' see X next weekend in Big Bear, then camp and ride bikes the next day!

That's punk rock!

Wow, what a show. Struts lead singer commanded the crowd for 2 straight hours. My wife and I are spent. Danced the night away. Can't wait to see them again.
A couple of Struts songs have made their way to Alt Nation and The Verge on Sirius/XM - really fun and energetic stuff.

Side note - if you listen to Sirius/XM and like alt rock, add The Verge (173) to your presets. Canadian Alt Rock (they also play non-Canadian) and no fear of Madison being the DJ!

Mmmmmm... :inlove:

Yummy! And I LOVED PJ Harvey's song "Flagpole Sitta"

Wait, what? A different Harvey? Oh. Never mind. Still a GREAT song.

I mean, no Lou Graham but...

"Fingertips have memories, I can't forget the curves of your body... and when I feel a bit naughty...I run 'em up the flagpole and see... who salutes, but no one ever does..."

...been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding, the cretins cloning and feeding, and I don't even own a TV..."

I went and saw TSOL a few weeks back at Marty’s on Newport. It has put them back in pretty heavy rotation.

Went to DC for the first time reecently and had to get a picture in front of the Dischord house. Any of you punk fans know how big of a deal this is.

Yes!!!
My best friend went and knocked on the door in college. He said the man living there was really nice and claimed to be Ian's grandpa.
