I suggested this to Rox last time I saw her. We need to institute a "Rox made me smile" tax. Anybody who has been amused, disgusted, entertained, pumped up, bewildered or otherwise emotionally impacted by the presence of our very own resident badass, please contribute to the "Rox made me smile" (or shudder, or shake my head or react in any way) fund. Send checks to me. Actually, just send cash. How can I be so poor yet my life be so rich??:

OMG Herz!! You made me laugh, you made me cry.....how do you do that?I suggested this to Rox last time I saw her. We need to institute a "Rox made me smile" tax. Luv ya Rox! In a "no-threat-to DW-kind-of-way." And yes, I have been drinking. Trader Joe's Providential. Best. Beer. Ever!
The Squeaky Wheel. It's a booming LBS out in Palmdale California. Bob is doing it right and is taking over the Antelope Valley (as he should... and deserves). What's that badge near your stem?

It's the emblem for The Squeaky Wheel Bike Shop. I bought my bike from them so I got the cool little sticker. It looks pretty nice so I'm not too concerned about the weight penaltyWhat's that badge near your stem?
I would be worried that the bike would live up to the sticker, a/la DoubleWide's post. My understanding is that Press fit BBs and carbon bikes do tend to develop a lot of creaking. I can hear carbon Speshys and many older Santa Cruz coming up behind me creaking and cracking. I've already had that problem on my Intense after 5 rides - but I found it was the SRAM derailleur, being amplified through the chainstays. The mounting bolt had worked loose, and every flexible part of the derailleur was making noise. It's the emblem for The Squeaky Wheel Bike Shop. Glad that Squeaky Wheel is a great bike shop! A great LBS is worth it's weight in Rock and Roll Gold!

Hardtail, right? It's the suspension pivots that'll get ya!I have a press fit BB, carbon frame, almost 2,000 miles on it, and it's as silent as they come. I had a click, not a creak, but it was my own fault and I fixed it with a judicious application of finger.
