Thanks Mike. For me, it's all about stress management. Sometimes I can manage well and sometimes I cannot. Sometimes my plate is overflowing, and sometimes, for brief moments, it's basically empty.

Here's to more empty plates! :thumbsup:
 
I went shopping at Lowes over the weekend. the water heater broke and I needed a gas line so the installer could complete the install.
Picked one out, paid with a Credit card, had a printed receipt and walked out. The next day I received an email from a survey site asking how I liked my visit to Lowes. WHFH? I freaking flipped. There is no way they would know I was there as I did not offer my email address, phone number or any other ideintifying information other than paying with Credit Card. Soo... those low life MF'ers somehow have linked my Card with my email and my Identity. Then shared it with a 3rd party. WTF?
What I now know and of course we learn the hard way, Lowes SUCKS. Full on spyware Sh!t. This is a violation of my privacy and I have every intent of going there and speaking to the manager on site to let them know my thoughts on this. For now, it'll be cash almost anywhere I shop, and Lowes has lost my business unless they answer my note listed on the survey they sent. And of course it was ALL 1's and dissatisfied, which I am. And just try and read the privacy staement on their website. Like most it's a never ending circle of BS.

Question, how comfortable are you if you know that anywhere you shop with a credit card will have access to your email, and god knows what else?
ME, not at all. Now excuse me while I clear my cookies off the browser like I do Every-Single-Day.

And by the way my browser of late is....Duck Duck Go for the win!! granted some sites crash being unable to apply their spyware Sh!t ass cookies, but I'm good with that.

Speaking only for me, because after all I can't speak for anyone else, I actually don't care. They can skim my email from someone who sold it to them.

What I've found is that if I simply don't answer but do hit "unsubscribe" it works beautifully. I've done this on everything from Living Spaces, to Home Depot (Lowe's would be same if I bought from there), Barnes & Noble, Target, Sears, Follow My Health (yes, my doctor's office) et cetera, ad nauseam.

Unsubscribe takes three seconds, max, and works like a charm. At least in my experience. I'm not worked up about it. The government already knows all about me.

On the plus side, Verizon contacted me several years ago and asked if I wanted the senior discount....$40 per line since I was over 55. I didn't know about it until they proposed it. It has saved me a ton of money over the last 5 years.

you know there was nothing wrong with the flex line. They get 20 bucks for nothing needed. Did they put in GOOD restraints? Yeah it is getting late and be prepared. The graphic shows the perpendicular line of stress

When you take the Lowes customer survey any score less than a perfect 10 will go towards preventing the employees from getting a quarterly bonus. So if you're pissed Lowes wins. o_O

Bonus, LOL. Like they'll ever give them anything, I've played that game. So yeah, 1s and dissatisfied at the lowest level. You can blame the survey company and lowes who had their business tracking me. F@ck them.

Works for me the intrusive spying MFs. Change the policy and stop tracking my anonymous purchases.

Honesty, they had NO REASON to know it was me. F@ck them.

The weird thing is I have a Lowe’s card and had it for years now, and I cannot recall getting a survey on anything I have bought from them.

My friend in CO has been working for Lowes for years. He receives a substantial bonus every year. He used to work for Home Depot which he says was a terrible place to work for, comparatively. I'll take Lowes over HD any day. HD may have more of a selection to offer but trying to get customer service inside the store is like pulling cactus needles out of your arse crack.

Lowe's has AC, while HD has evap coolers. It's a wash in winter, but during summer Lowe's it is!
Besides Bill Gates is tracking my 5G chip anyway.
