About as much as when you threw your bike in the back of that guy's truck. If I wore a set of motorized leg attachments that assisted my legs in turning the cranks on a non-motorized bike, would I be considered an e-biker?
And they're just as fun!In other news...
Bicycles without motors attached exist.
Just as?And they're just as fun!
I can live with that.About as much as when you threw your bike in the back of that guy's truck.
I'm on your side. Undoubtedly. I just cheat the system every now and again. That's all.Just as?
Maintaining yet another motor, one that supplants my exercise, sounds like a lose/lose. No none, not even @SnakeCharmer, will convince me that I will eventually change my mind. Bicycles don't have motors. The end.
The value of my Hightower just plummeted...
Don't lose hope, Tom...pre-pbike Santa Cruz, it could be a thing. Like US-made Craftsman. The value of my Hightower just plummeted...
I for one am not surprised! Of course I saw a proto in laguna a year agoNice to see all the Santa Cruz fanboys and girls getting a taste in the trenches of corporate warfare.
Oh! I am so shocked a multinational corporation would stoop so low as to jump into the only rapidly expanding market sector! They're just like Trek or...... Specialized!

Your in the clear, it's that other pinhead...What'd I do this time?
Having demo'd a number of ebikes, I'd argue regular bikes are far more fun. While the moped/motorcycle comments are nonsensical, I'm still not a fan. I think they have legitimate uses, (especially for commuters,) but they aren't for me. The weight makes them understeer badly while descending, and god help you if you lose traction on a climb. The Shimano motor is so sensitive that it throws a code if you so much as breathe on the pedals when you turn it on. And then you have a dead bike. Most of them require a cadence higher than what I am comfortable with for the pedal assist to kick in. I've yet to have an eBike ride that didn't leave me more exhausted than if I had ridden a regular bike. And they're just as fun!

That's a nice E-bike.. for someone else. Not this kid. I do not subscribe but no doubt that bike will be popular.
