I remember being a kid in the early to mid 80s. Pioneer had a promotion where you would get a free wrist watch with purchase. I remember being so happy with the watch. I actually collect vintage looking watches now, that remind me of the watch I got with my box of chicken dinner

Bike swap meet report:
I was able to stuff all my items into a mussette and a tote bag I strapped to my top tube and meet Albert at 8AM just as he’s staked out the best spot in the lot. Tons of shade all day!
lots of awesome bikes and parts, even records and clothing.
man, there were soo many good bikes and deals.
I got a brand new Fizik vento saddle for $20. He offered me a vento adaptive for $90 but it was too narrow for me.
The dude had boxes of fizik saddles and shoes. I also bought a pair of super comfy skate pants from him for $10. His booth was next to ours. I assume he works for fizik.
the booth on the other side of us turned out to work for Zwift. They gave us some cool mussettes and cycling caps.
I bought a Ferrari Lego from their kiddo for $10. Score!
They had some high $$$ bikes and a cervelo aspero frame at good prices. Luckily those belonged to the very tall husband and I’m not tall.
for those of us who often post on the thread about young women on bikes, there were tons at the event. Along with dudes and families.
@slooowsef sold a fair amount of his classic 90’s bike parts.
i sold a pair of old magic shine lights and a shock pump to a cute girl with a rad Brompton.
@Fueledbyex8 , had some really nice wares, for good prices. He sold some brand new grips and a saddle.
When the morning got started the shop people went around taking coffee orders for the vendors.
Around lunch one of the other employees that also has a side hustle making smash burgers got busy slinging those. All orders were delivered right to the vendors from across the street.
Unfortunately for me, no vegi options.
NP, We all got slices from Pizzanista across the street.
Okay, enough words. Here’s some pics.

@Fueledbyex8 kept remembering the old Fully courthouse swap meets. He wants to get that going again.
I wasn’t either until we moved to the area. Pasadena is the closest city people recognize.Alright. Not familiar with the area. Looks like it was a great time!
Dang! That’s a lot of blood, and it looks kinda chunky too.I'll just leave this here. Super fast electric scooter, no helmet, ear buds .... bad combo.

There were lots of families @DangerDirtyD. There was even some kiddo who tried to deal me some cookies. I told her my Buddy Dio’s kid was gonna be my dealer this year and her parents hustled her away quickly.Dang! That’s a lot of blood, and it looks kinda chunky too.

Hahaha! It would’ve remained innocent until her parents made it seem scandalous. I’ll send you the link to indulge. There were lots of families @DangerDirtyD. There was even some kiddo who tried to deal me some cookies. I told her my Buddy Dio’s kid was gonna be my dealer this year and her parents hustled her away quickly.
shortly after that, I was asked to leave.
Well, looks like there won't be any more rides from the door for me anymore, back to commuting to the trailhead. Moving a few freeway exits west into Arcadia... for the time being. Hopefully will find somewhere more permanent later this year...
That's a pretty solid dusty roost behind your bike.
