I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

Deferred bike maintenance. Cleaned and lubed chains. Adjusted front derailleur and shift cable on one that was jamming when shifting from inner to outer chain ring. Replaced some brake pads. Tightened up loose rotor center lock nut on one. Tightened up seats. Amazingly, the bikes run really well now.

I took the P-line today.

Putzed around in the garage most of the morning. Did DMV renewal over @ AAA. Some more moving things around the garage. Went and saw Bad Times at The El Royal.
Great movie BTW. Highly recommended!

Both Nick Offerman and Jim O'Heir were in it, so it's like a Parks & Rec. reunion!

Was going to do some trail work today, but still feeling under the weather. Opted for a little wrenching instead, though the day is pristine. Might try an easy ride later, and if I do I'll come back and delete this post!
There is something going around. I've got it today, @UPSed had it yesterday, and my texting buds across the country are feeling it too. It's the Fall season blahhhs.

That quick change in barometric pressure can really jack some people up too..I don’t know how it can weaken the immune system but it can o_O
Feel better fast you guys, it’s suppose to be an amazing week!

I tried to go camping for the weekend with my wife, brother and a group of friends. We got rained out and came home Saturday afternoon. We slept, watched TV ate the food we'd bought for camping. Today we got together for with most of the camping group and went hiking in Malibu and then went over to Neptune's net to hang with all the Wild Hogs and watch the waves.
I did talk my roadie friend into buying himself a mtn. bike ( SC Chameleon,) much to his wife's dismay.

Spent over 3 hours doing yard work this morning and that’s on top of a few hours during the week after work. I hate Santa Ana winds so much. :devilish:

We'd hoped to do the mega-classic Bear's Reach...

But parties in queue, on the route, and on other routes converging with the finish of BR gave us pause in our choice. We ended up climbing the first pitch of Pop Bottle and traversing off from there, while the cluster festered high on the wall. Nice to pull down on some good granite, have to come back soon...
