Stopped at a Del Taco in St George on our way to Bryce. Hadn't been to one in forever, but the burritos were tasty (especially doused in hot sauce) but not exceptional.
The last time I ate at a Del Taco, the Mucho Macho burrito was the big thing.

Total Derailment ahead...
Naugles had the best Macho Combo Burrito of all times. In 1977 when cruising the boulevard was still legal, we would drive over to Avenue I in Lancaster and wait in a ridiculously long drive thru line even after midnight to order Macho Combo Burritos with Sour Cream. The Drive Thru rolled past the big windows to see the dining area packed way beyond maximum capacity of troublemaking highschoolers. Man! What happen to those days???
"Naugles was founded by former Del Taco partner Dick Naugle. The first Naugles restaurant was located at the southwest corner of 14th St. and Brockton Avenue, in Riverside, California (now a Del Taco) in 1970. Naugle's motto was "Prepare food fresh. Serve customer fast. Keep place clean!"
Harold Butler purchased Naugles in 1979 when the chain consisted of three restaurants. The chain was expanded by a system of non-exclusive franchises, which later was ruled unlawful by a federal court.[2] Butler built Naugles up to 275 restaurants by 1984, when he sold the chain to Collins Foods International. Naugles merged with Del Taco in 1988 when businessman Anwar Soliman purchased both companies at nearly the same time.[4][5] A few of the Naugles menu items, such as those with the "Macho" designation, found their way into the regular Del Taco menu. Also, the Naugles Taco Sandwich (Del Taco called it a "bun taco") can still be ordered from Del Taco even though it does not appear as an item listed on the menu."
