I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

Hey fellas thanks for all the positive vibes and concern for Rusty and sorry for not following up sooner. I'll spare you the sh!tty details and just say that it did not pass naturally and an emergency procedure had to be performed that involved some really long needle nose pliers type tool but it was successful and did not require him getting cut open and gutted. It was a long and couple days but he is home and recovering well even though he will probably be walking a little funny for the next few days. He's gonna be just fine and is already acting like his sh!thead self...Bottom line is it was a $2000+ dollar steak but we all love the f@cker and are really happy and blessed to have him with us. I talked to him earlier and told him how on our next ride I'm gonna rip his legs off and he seemed pretty excited to hear that...
Fantastic, what a relief! Good outcome... If it makes you feel better, my mom’s bill to save her dog was twice yours. A bargain at any price for a family member, though. :)

Me and the hubs rode dirt bikes instead, it’s been almost 18yrs since I’ve ridden a moto, I’d forgotten how much fun it is!

Thee pedals are a requirement! I think they've kinda' got the shifting thing down.

Does anyone remember double clutching? Or did I just learn on trucks that were ancient... Or the even more advanced... shifting without the clutch? Another ancient skill probably...

My last manual was a 90 Blazer... The kids called it "The Big Red Truck". My oldest was quite adept at digging into the Florida mud to lock the hubs. :inlove:

We are fully synchronized here!

Cuzz I went for a walk turned creek hopping adventure instead. The wife and dogs do the same walk all the time all week long to see their horsey friends so today I talked em in to something different. We went up Charlie canyon to the end and little did I know there was running water and lots of it. Made for a fun time as we had to cross the creek 9 times. One of us made it back to the Jeep dry and the other 3 didn't...:Roflmao I now remember why I don't usually ride this side. We got passed by roughly 25 motos, more E-Bikes than I could possibly count(50+ at least) and a total of 4 nice people on regular mountain bikes...
