I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

I have not rode for a small while, ages for me. But my rental flip is picture perfect and now I can ride. The trails are wet so it may have to wait or it's Space. It is cold outside so that is also a no vote. I am stoked that all my hard work on the house is over and maybe now I can ride, if only the weather will team up with me.
Looking at the north I can see the mountains on the Canadian boarder are pure white, maybe that is why they call that the Alamo Mt.

Well cuzz the weather sucked pretty much all day and I had a fridge full of beer and a trip to St George to get ready for next weekend. Bike is ready (and stunning looking), truck is ready to haul sum azz & up to 6 bikes, supplies are stacked in a neat pile and the beer supply is getting depleted now. Let's go already...:geek:
 
I didn't ride today... because I am redoing our master bath and had to re-plumb both sinks.

Nothing like having to cut out 40 year-old corroded brass fittings from under otherwise perfectly good porcelain sinks :)

And now... ceramic 1/4 turn valves with chrome trim kits... they're like butter... remind me why I didn't do this 20 years ago? :)

Strawberry Farm with an out-of-town guest. That's my third round of golf this year (3x my normal amount)! I did something today I've never done before in my golfing life - and I was an avid golfer for 30 years (not good - just avid). I actually hit every tee shot on the front nine - all 7 fairways and both par 3 greens. All pretty good shots too! Only 5 of them converted to pars, and no birdies, but in my 100s or maybe 1000s of rounds of golf, I've never done that. Yay me.

However my swing deserted me for the first three holes on the back nine and I triple bogeyed 4 holes on the back. Oh well. That's golf. Got rained on for two holes too.

I like mt. biking better.

I didn't ride today because I continue to work on the master bathroom... though I am getting close to the beginning of the end :)
(1) Installed 3 new vanity lights
(2) Replaced all outlets and switches. 2 switches with LED friendly dimmers. One outlet in the middle of a wall-length mirror was a PIA because I have a mirror outlet cover... and the idjits who cut the mirror (years ago) didn't exactly align it with the wall box. I spend more time dealing with other peoples' mistakes than doing my own work :)
(3) Installed new wood baseboards (I had finished these a couple of weeks ago).

New ceiling lights were delivering this PM too late for me to install today. Also have to install towel racks, robe hooks, etc.
