I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

No Flooping for me. Just in this neck of the woods for meetings- no bike

I hope you went here. I had work in Placentia last week and ate there twice. I recently discovered that they have a location in El Segundo as well. I dare say the best seafood tacos that I’ve had.

And you didn't stop by to see me? I work in Placentia! Next time hit me up. I'll sneak out for lunch.

I'll have to try this place. The restaurant it replaced was not my fave.

Oh dang, I either didn't know, or forgot that you worked there (probably the latter). I had one meeting get postponed, so I'll let you know as soon as it reschedules, and maybe we can have a taco date. That said, I'm all but certain this is just the same business under a different name. I feel like it's even the third name in the last year or two, but the food and menu are exactly the same as far as I can tell.

Actually I did.....but I did get out for a hike this morning. My sister is trying to get into better shape and asked to go for another hike. So her, my niece, cousin, aunt and Suz headed over to the Oaks. There was some WTF's when I showed where we were going. Immediately we were climbing.

They all did great. Yelled at a bunch of ebikers.

We only did 2.5 miles and 350' but I think it lit a fire under them.

Good times.

Unsettled weather has coincided with a work bubble. Gotta love when that happens. :sneaky:

I don't mind the screen time. I'll be kicking my ass around the Lake starting this weekend. Shooting for no re-supply stops, just ground water. My Oneup pedals and WTB Pure showed up, sweet cockpit upgrade. So ready to blaze...

My wife took off early from work, and we did a hike with the dog on the fire road above our house. Got eyes on another unnamed single track that starts about 2 miles from my house. The part I can see didn't look like anything special, but it's something, and yet another piece to add that I can pedal to from my driveway. Google Earth was inconclusive about where it ends, so I guess it's times to explore.

It certainly looks like it is being used regularly.

My wife and I just celebrated 30 years of marriage and we’re there too -Rome, Italy. We did the Vatican walking tour and the Collesium walking tour while we were there. I was bold enough to take this pic in Pisa.

Inspiring work, both of you! Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Stkx.

Will be going to carrara next week before we leave. Wasn't originally on the itinerary, but the owner of the company I now work for lives there and he wants to meet me, so a detour it is!

Tonight we do a night tour of the Coliseum, no crowds.... looking forward to it, should be fun!

Took the family up Maple Springs road for a picnic. My son wanted to ride so I brought his balance bike with us, he loved it up there and must’ve done 1000 laps around the car.

Nice to get out, even if I wasn’t on my bike. Although having my son so excited to ride where we were is good enough for me.

Do you have a lift on your 4Runner, or were you able to fit larger tires with the stock suspension?
