Who's Riding Where???

I am doing a 24 mile 2,500 ft. ride Sunday at Limestone/Red Rocks with IRC. "This ride includes 8 of the 10 single track trails in Limestone Canyon and Red Rock Wilderness" was good enough for me

I still have not ridden Red Rocks, so I will suffer in a 24 person group setting. There will hopefully be more women on the ride than men in spandex this time.

Currently full, but you can always add yourself to the standby list in case anyone cancels.

A spot opened up. Grab it. Especially if you are a really slow climber.

Only 24!?!? What happen to the other 376?

I asked my bikes if any of them wanted to go play tomorrow morning and the only one to raise their seatpost was the SS.......so it's going to be a short ride on the road tomorrow up, down, up, down, and repeat.

I went to my closet and asked which bike wants to go play. My Revel said "You haven't touched me since June 19th. Sometimes I feel like I don't even know you!"

So I guess me and the Mint Chip bike are headed to Aliso this morning.
So I guess you're hearing good voices?

W-L-W in the morning. I may have to evade authorities. Since most people will be on e-bikes, I should be easy prey.

EDIT: Air quality might be an issue. Gonna try anyway.

EDIT: As I was driving that direction, I saw a big brown cloud, so I quickly turned left and hit Aliso instead. Good choice.

Sycamore Canyon tomorrow, rolling at 8am. Various trails with a climb up Guadalasca and down Backbone trail. This will be the most technical riding I’ve done since my surgery in May.
Yikes! Be careful climbing up Guad. I almost took out a few uphill riders coming down that on a weekend, last visit. I can't understand why a rider would want to climb that trail, which is clearly built for speed, on a weekend with weekend traffic. In fact, It should be a uni-directional trail on weekends, IMO. Unfortunately, there isn't an "easy way" to access Guad or Wood Canyon Backbone.

It's open. Signs at the beginning of STT at the top of Modjeska say "watch for fire equipment" which pretty much says "go get some."

That's all they said last time I got turned around a couple of weeks ago. I told the guy they should put closed signs up if it was closed. o_O I don't know what they are worried about ... they widened STT enough for a 747 to roll past.

Got a place in San Luis Obispo. 3 nights this Fri-Mon. My buddy had to bail so I have a spot open if interested . Meeting Snake Charmer up there for all the fuuuuun! Cheap lodging and nice place . I am driving up Friday morning.

Nothing fancy - just same ol' W-L-W loop this morning. Who's with me?

I would, but it is foggy AF at my place. I might go out later once it clears.

I'm recovering from yesterday, you should have been there! Cure for the same ole......

Same ol' is his wheelhouse. Whiting, Luge, Whiting, Aliso, rinse, repeat. He is old and set in his ways.

Not about age my friend. I've been criticized for my redundant trails selections for over 15 years. Not that I need to explain, but I stay close to home so that I actually can ride and still be a husband and father. @DangerDirtyD rides at midnight for the same reason.

I'm no @evdog or @Dr. Wellington Yueh that's for sure. I don't ride for adventure. I ride for fun and fitness. My trails are fun and they keep me relatively fit. Think of it this way - some people have a season pass to a ski area. They go there exclusively. Others travel to go to many different ski areas. Guess which I do? Yup - I like efficient routines that work vs long, drawn out, expensive hassles with iffy results.
