Who's Riding Where???

I had made some noise about trying to be ready to re-create last Memorial Day with another Wrightwood ride. However, with that being only two weeks out, I doubt I will be ready for that kind of a ride. I know it's not a huge ride, but it's a lot for a guy who hasn't really ridden since mid March and has a new substantial body part.

I will try a modest lap of something this weekend - maybe Whiting - and see how that goes. I do have some physical therapy starting up, so maybe my therapist can give me a clue as to my readiness.

I figured that . Better ready than not. Just keep plugging away. Physical Therapy is a good thing if you get a good one. They usually are a bit cautious about there diagnosis. So when they say go it is a strong go! We ride soon Herz.

I don't ride over 85*. That means 90 in the sun. No bueno. If it's too hot I will take you to some cool weather riding.

Give me a couple more weeks. I would like to ride there on The Beast. I should be able to make the "ugly" turn on the switchbacks....
There are a few things I need to finish on the house first. I don't ride over 100°.
I'll keep you posted

Heal well...Summer is a comin'!

Summer is for surfing! But I appreciate the well wishes.

In keeping with this thread, I will probably try my luck at Whiting tomorrow. Most of Orange County will probably be there in the morning as well. Throngs of hikers with giant visors and/or the latest REI hiking poles. Especially on Borrego (which I think I might skip).

Come on up to where the trails are clear of humanity and REI fashion shows.
You can even go ditch surfing !!!!!
