Who's Riding Where???

San Juan for me.

Open invitation.

Climb to Cocktail, "break right, break right", descend new San Juan (which is the funner downhill ... mostly ... except for the annoying technical uphill parts. :ninja:).

Maybe to Blue Jay and then flip it and reverse it.

It looks like it might rain in the afternoon ... so earlyish.

I know some of you L.A. ladies are thinking on it.

Bring your daughters undergeared bikes ... I will be on my tried and true 165 travel 29 pound Costco beast. Could be fun.

Then again, I might be drunk on craft beer and will not even show up. :Roflmao:gag::sick::Roflmao

Hey, if anybody wants to come up and ride these, feel free...
This is what I'm riding at the ranch tomorrow.

Change of plans. My school has a quarter final water polo game tomorrow at 10 am that I should attend, so if I ride anything tomorrow, it may just be my....

wait for it.....

Mountain Bike! If I do, it will be my first ride of 2023.

(PS: 2nd place in Division 1 Orange County Academic Decathlon tonight. Curse you Woodbridge! Phenomenal result for us however. We'll take it.)

I think I'm setting myself up for pain..
My neighbor, a 30ish CalFire, his friend 30ish military, and another 30ish LEO, invited me to go mtb around the lake tomorrow.......if there is no ride report by the end of the day tomorrow, send help.
Kids wanna see what this old man is made of.
What do you mean by old man? A 35 year old fellow driver and hammer I ride with had no idea I was nearly 25 years his senior. I took his "I had no idea you were that much older than me" comment as a compliment.

So this was posted on Reddit today as a ride through Blackstar Canyon. Now, the 200 or so times I’ve ridden BS I have yet to find a trail that leads to this. Maybe a closed off trail that ends at Irvine lake it seems? Anyone know how this person arrived at this spot?

I’ve seen recent reports of people riding Rocky Peak area and now have the itch to get back out there. Tomorrow my plans is to ride Grudge and Undertow, route may include a climb up Chumash TBD.These trails are not harder than Hummingbird, but may have one or more features I may chose to walk. Anyone interested?
