What's Cooking?

Prime top sirloin. Also dirty mashed spuds, broccoli salad, cheesecake.

I feel kinda dumb after a recent “discovery.” I didn’t know that pounding a chicken breast was necessary to get them cooked properly. So I’ve started pounding out my chicken breasts and marinating them in a secret blend of mayo and Italian dressing and they are so much better than before.

This thread was dropping way down the list so... Pizza night on the Kamado. Gonna have to have @Mikie drive down the road a few miles and file a complaint with Royal Oak charcoal though. Damn twenty buck bag of charcoal was pretty much dust so this and Nick's pizza took half a twelver to heat up and get done.

Gotta get Rockwood lump charcoal, ACE carries it. Dude who owns it flew over some old charcoal kilns in Missouri and decided to re-kindle (pun intended) the charcoal making there. But the real reason Rockwood is awesome is that it has a very neutral smoke to it so perfect for birds/pizza/etc.
