Trail Slayer demands a SART Epic!

This really sucks that I'm gonna miss an epic ride just to look at some heifers ass (true story). I just hope my wife, son, niece, inlaws, deceased brother inlaw, dog, and whoever else I'm forgetting realize the sacrifices I'm making for them. Have fun boys and I dislike you all just a little.

So there was a quick mention of Tailwind in the ride post so I was like, yeah good idea.

Of course I was out, I gave the rest to a friend, seeing as I didn't have a bottle on the Bronson because .. well ... not that simple.

So I actually find a local store with Tailwind .. Score! so now on to the bottle.

There is cable management issues, see the picture I rearrange a few things, connected a few other, and with my lenze side load bottle holder whullah all looks good!

But of course you have to run the suspension through the full travel to make sure the cable don't bind.

So I let out the air and run it through.

Well I have the air out so why not check the link smoothness, disconnect shock mount and remove rear wheel.

Not quite happy, So I end up ...

Servicing the lower pivots, including, cleaning out everything, grease gun, new loctite

While I am at it upper links full service, shock bolt.

Hey rear susp feels nice and smooth

Back wheel is off I-9 Free hub buzzing a but, service rear hub check/ clean / lube axle, check brakes

Hey wheel feels light, no shaky shaky liquid sound... refill with stans...

hmm yup should do the front too..yup front dry too.. check / clean / lube / axle check brakes

Adjust new dropper post, minor cable stretch, dial it in

Lets wipe down all the stations (Seatpost, Fork, Rear shock) and a little slick honey.

You know, I put the new cleats on the new shoes a couple weeks ago, not quite satisfied.. adjust Cleats

Since I let the air out of the rear shock need to set sag, of course now as you pump up you need to work it to fill negative air, let check the rebound...took a few times.

Ohh what the hell wash the pads...

.... All for a bottle of Tailwind....

EDIT : 50/50 I still have a mechanical LOL!

Affirmative.
Check.
I'm bringing along my 15 y.o. We'll do our own thing for as long as we can. Know the area, so no problem our peeling off if we need to. As I mentioned, Glass Rd would be something to aim for, but P.O. Loop will more likely be all I/we are in for.

Lunch @ The Oaks was mentioned... I'll also toss in the option of pizza back down the hill @ Gourmet:
