Only a light breeze for now despite the news report a couple minutes ago saying we’re having 70mph gusts.
Father in law (best drinking buddy) is here for the weekend and I’m getting ready to smoke some salmon.

@Rumpled we yanked everything out of our garden yesterday and friday for the same reason. We must of tossed at least 100 tomaters (3 different types). And, a bunch of differnt types of squash. BUT, we do have an abundance of everything sitting tight in our garage. Which we use as cold storage since it stays right around 45-55 degrees.

I have seen the fog creep up from the valley to the mountains, but this is the first time I have seen it come down the mountain. Slow and steady.

I rode today at Gypsum Canyon for the open access.
Winds were very strong.
At one point a gust blew me off my bike in the middle of a switchback.

Thank you for my excuse for not riding today. Barely any wind in Costa Mesa .... but also not tying to drive out to what is essentially Riverside.

As always , will have to wait and see what actually happens. About a month ago they were predicting similar conditions and barely got anything out of it. It does seem like forecasts are getting more accurate, so we'll see.......

No rain, until I went out to feed the animals.
I was about 10' away from the hay barn and 30' from the stall when it started to rain. Then it's another 100' or so to the coop. I was almost back to the house and it stopped raining. Whateverrr

Just finished scraping the frost off the windows of my daughters car so she can go to work. Didn't see any Pacifico on the back porch. I guess I have to get up earlier than the deer.
