Agree, I may have had a DNS if it really were raining hard the morning of. Just can’t handle anymore bike woes from mud. Still have to put new brake pads and rotors on from the Sh!t I was in a few weeks ago and that’s after a shock/fork rebuild, rear wheel respoke on the drive side, new chain, new BB and a ton of elbow grease just getting mud out.

Nobody wanted a repeat of last year, but pulling the plug on Tuesday is questionable (at best).

I got there before 6 - but not much before - and they were handing them out.
There must be a boatload of folks picking them up on race morning. The stack of number plates was impressive!!

Yep, I dropped in around quarter before 6 and they were set up and rolling. That's cool that you get to pick up your shirt before the event. I don't even have to ride now since it's really all about the T-shirt!

Had more to do with the food catering than waiting it out another day is my understanding. I’m actually stoked since I am fighting off what feels like strep throat at the moment. When my daughter starts pre-school in a couple years I’ll be taking a month long vacation because it’s been brutal here at home since my son started last month.

It was his day yesterday. Successful weather prognosticator and newly crowned Motorway King!
Next weekend is looking really nice... Should be a good day for VQ/CC, even if it's a little warmer than today. And, I don't think anyone will take out his time on Motorway, even in the heat of competition.

Silverado is showing a high of 80 w/ 11 mph winds.....and humidity of 14%.
Expect it to feel warmer, windier and buggier than that....and hydrate before, it's gonna be pretty dry out there.
