It's not bad... The 25 mile route has cell service the entire time. It never really leaves civilization. You might lose it here and there during the Caspers portion on the 50, but I know that there's 4G at the top of the climb, which is the farthest point out on the course at mile 23. I've FaceTimed the wife from there...

The only time you’ll lose reception is in parts of Casper’s. I have reception everywhere else. I’m on ATT. Your service may vary.

Unfortunately I am out for the Rwanda ride. We closed escrow today so I'll be spending the weekend packing stuff up and prepping for the move. 
I did stop by Rock N Road today to grab my shirt and socks though. 
I was looking forward to doing the ride again since I missed last year also. You guys have fun out there.

Good news and bummer for @pperrelle
Got packet at R&R at lunch. Good group of volunteers, especially a couple of eager kids. Only took a couple of minutes, except for chatting with people I know for even longer.

I will NOT be able to be there before the race, ummm ridestarts due to some logistics in the morning. But I will be there with booth set up ready to rock when you get done!
@Mikie, most folks are not looking for booths prior to ride start anyway.
But I'll swing by when I'm done, for sure.

That's cool! I always tell people that section used to be in the course. They took it out, because too many people went down on the loose little climb.

Had a great time today, weather was perfect. Always a fun event and even better seeing and meeting folks from here at the awesome booth @Mikie had there. Got me some caffeine laced Tailwind(s)! I had Tailwind for breakfast and 5 scoops in my bladder and didn’t need any food at all from the aid stations.
Nice to meet @Runs with Scissors, @Mikie, @UPSed (and Jennifer, forgot her name on here), @Voodoo Tom and @MattB. Good to see @mtnbikej and @Faust29 again. Hope I didn’t forget anyone I saw. Now it’s gonna be even harder for me to be snarky on here after putting more faces to names!

This is one you should come down and ride. The entire atmosphere is great, and it's a boatload of fun. Put it on your calendar for next year. You won't regret it.
