From our ride last night. Someone destroyed the top bench. My friends Rick and Brach drove a truck up there a few years ago and fixed it up.
It was a nice spot for hikers and bikers to sit and enjoy the view in the shade.
It took some effort for the vandals to trash it as it was well made.
We can’t have anything nice anymore without some jerk wanting to ruin it.

Why would someone do that? Is there bad blood between some people in that area?

Yeah people suck sometimes, and it amazes me the crap they do just to be ass holes.

I'm going to believe they climbed on top of the roof, it gave way and they broke their leg.

Look what came into the shop today….

Interesting tire combo… o_O
The rear is a Maxxis Hookworm. I have those mounted to our jogging/skating stroller, and they offer just as much traction as a Maxxis Rekon.
Plishhhh! Wrong.
they actually do have a lot of traction.
Okay… this is just because I’m bored…

.
I saw the new trail name markers, very cool. I bet they get graffiti tagged in no time. Cant have nice things.....

BTW, what the temp out there today? Break 100* yet?
.

.
High is supposed to only be 100. Planning on riding at 5 or 6.
Trail markers are nice. Someone has a sense of humor referencing Portal Trail
And, yes who knows how long the new signs will lasto_O:(

These are from about a week ago. my wife and I were laughing at how slow the commuter train is in Austin. But, to their credit, it’s clean and feels safe and they have a person on board that actually checks for tickets.

second photo, we found this great looking river walk and while my wife attended to business the next morning I tried to go for a walk down there. Some cops at first told me “you’ll be fine,” then about an hour later they found me walking around and the same two dudes go “You looking for something friend? You don’t want to be down here if you’re not looking for something.”

Took the kids down the hill to Oakley for a BMX show. Thought I may as well check out the store whilst I was there. Chatted for a bit to one of the sales guys and he mentioned they had a museum of sorts behind the store.
Walked round the corner straight into this legendary steed. Looked like the real deal, had definitely been ridden.
*I may have contemplated getting the kids to make a scene so I could sneak it out past security :whistling:

And knowing you the first thing would be to head down the luge with it :)

Kinda reminds me of taking my 2000 speshy M2 down the luge. ain't something I'd do today :D but was much younger at that time.

Re-live the glory days! I have an S-Works M2 in the man cave, it'd definitely fit you. We can race :sneaky: I'll bring the Proflex to make it fair. You'll have much better suspension and bars greater than 4xx wideo_O

Full disclosure, we will both be on v-brakes :whistling:
