Interesting tire combo…
The rear is a Maxxis Hookworm. I have those mounted to our jogging/skating stroller, and they offer just as much traction as a Maxxis Rekon.I know, but he likes this setup.
Plishhhh! Wrong. The rear is a Maxxis Hookworm. I have those mounted to our jogging/skating stroller, and they offer just as much traction as a Maxxis Rekon.
Why would someone do that? Is there bad blood between some people in that area?View attachment 93453
From our ride last night. Someone destroyed the top bench. My friends Rick and Brach drove a truck up there a few years ago and fixed it up.
It was a nice spot for hikers and bikers to sit and enjoy the view in the shade.
It took some effort for the vandals to trash it as it was well made.
We can’t have anything nice anymore without some jerk wanting to ruin it.
None that I know of. A wile back they stole the tools that the local bike shop mounted there. Just cut the cables and took them. Probably had no use for them. Why would someone do that? Is there bad blood between some people in that area?
On second thought, it was probably ebikers. Everyone know you don’t need a rest or shade when you ride an ebike!None that I know of. A wile back they stole the tools that the local bike shop mounted there. Just cut the cables and took them. Probably had no use for them.

I'm going to believe they climbed on top of the roof, it gave way and they broke their leg.
Plishhhh! Wrong.
The broken legs or the Maxxis Hookworms?they actually do have a lot of traction.

Okay… this is just because I’m bored…they actually do have a lot of traction.

More like weeds in that photo! Mustard plants?
There is at least ten varieties of wildflower in the image, mostly golds and yellows. In fact, wildflowers are really nothing more than bloomed weeds.More like weeds in that photo! Mustard plants?
I sit corrected. There is at least ten varieties of wildflower in the image, mostly golds and yellows. In fact, wildflowers are really nothing more than bloomed weeds.
It's quite a hike to reach the good stuff but it would be nice to get my wife up there. She's coo-koo about flowers.I sit corrected.
I've seen them in the Burbank CostcoView attachment 93483
Costco in Indio. I thought Costco only sold these online. Great bike for the price.

Took the kids down the hill to Oakley for a BMX show. Thought I may as well check out the store whilst I was there. Chatted for a bit to one of the sales guys and he mentioned they had a museum of sorts behind the store.
Walked round the corner straight into this legendary steed. Looked like the real deal, had definitely been ridden.
*I may have contemplated getting the kids to make a scene so I could sneak it out past security

Re-live the glory days! I have an S-Works M2 in the man cave, it'd definitely fit you. We can race I'll bring the Proflex to make it fair. You'll have much better suspension and bars greater than 4xx wideAnd knowing you the first thing would be to head down the luge with it
Kinda reminds me of taking my 2000 speshy M2 down the luge. ain't something I'd do today but was much younger at that time.
