Please. Attention to detail and spelling matter. It's Aiiight!
Nope, definitely disagree. I'm from da ghetto where gangsta lingo prevails.

It's almost a two syllable word. The "Ahhh" part is drawn out and it deepens as it exits the lungs. The "ight" part is sharp and brief.

Next time we ride, I'll show you my "13" tattoo and I won't use foundation to hide my tear drop tatts.

He asked for a "13" but they drew a "31"

I'm waiting for someone to invent an autopilot system for my bike so that I can take a nap while it get's through the trail.

Heck, a guy passed me today on an e-bike. He was riding uphill, and to prove the point he took his hands off the handlebars to stretch while his bike continued uphill without even pedal assist. I'm surprised he didn't just stay in his car, have the bike do the ride, and then watch GoPro videos after the fact.

Priorities….

Skipping an e-bike and looking into getting a dirt bike. Might need to pick some brains here, I assume @AKAKTM knows a thing or two about enduro dirt bikes.

Wife says it’s a good idea so just gotta get finances in order.

The KTM 500 is a really popular well built motorcycle. There are at least 3 new KTM 500 dual sport owners in our offroad enduro club this year. I still have my 2010 KTM 530 which I don't ride much anymore.

As a new rider I was almost thinking 350 but my buddy is all in on the 500. Same dude I ride with the most on mtb so we are kinda taking this plunge together. A couple other friends, one owns a house in mammoth, want to buy bikes as well so already have about 5 of us to catch the bug together.

I can’t buy one until early 2023 so just scratching the surface on researching bikes.

@SnakeCharmer - I still follow rules which is why I’m not buying an ebike to ride at Oaks, still all human power for MTB. No way would I ride an actual dirt bike there though! I know you were joking… :p

Dual sports are fun to ride and can definitely be useful for MTB : )

Unfortunately the one below was stolen up in WA so I'm looking for a bike as well. No KTM though. Probably stick with Honda likely CRF250L or 300L, possibly KLX250/300 or WR250R depending on what deal comes along. Not a ton of used inventory out there right now.

It's worth doing your research before buying. There are lots of options all with trade-offs, and like MTB you could end up spending a lot of money on something that isn't necessarily best bike for what you'll actually be riding. So that said, I'd make an honest assessment of what you're likely to actually ride and go from there. Fire roads? OHV areas? Singletrack? Desert?

As much as I'd like to think I'll eventually ride singletrack on a moto, I've ridden enough moto trails on a MTB to know that a lot of them are just far too steep or gnarly for me, and I don't see myself ever getting enough saddle time to learn. Since I need something plated, reasonable seat height and want long service intervals, I end up with pretty much the list above.
