Post One Photo and Sentence or Comment

Hey bro, I know this sounds cliche, focus on all your blessings.....you have countless ones I'm sure!!!
Good post, @scan. And other rational people (everyone here).

I got to be a better leader then that.
I appreciate that you strive for improvement, good sir. But, Mikie, you have shown more than worthy leadership here. Allowing a voice dissenting of your own to remain without it being maligned, vilified, threatened, assaulted, mocked or belittled (or deleted or banned) is being a leader. Also, your thoughtful MO teaches others. Power to ya for leading here.

I said something about 15 people buying the Best of IMTBTrails coffee table book. I did not mean that in a hurtful way – the opposite, in fact. I realize it may not align with the official IMTBT vision of world digital MTB domination :p, but I've seen enthusiast sites turn nearly worthless with increased traffic. Yea, I like a corner bar versus a club, but a cover charge is still okay with me. I encourage anyone who benefits from this free site to toss some scratch at @Mikie. It might make his day a little easier while he's plotting the uprising...

LOL, @doublewide. :D

I read this last night...
...and I'm thinking there are some people here just waiting to see what I do with this.
Because I thought we all made an agreement that there were two off limit subjects. Politics and Religion.

There is Twitter and there is Facebook. You can all go crazy on those because they are NOT imtbtrails. I do. Right now I'm in Facebook jail for some of my posts.
imtbtrails is a website for those of us that have one main thing in common... bicycles.

So it's one thing to have an emotional outburst. Many have done this on imtbtrails. I have. Several times. I have apologized on many. I get it. We are passionate people. We forgive and forget, and I was so hoping that emotional maturity was going to prevail and the above post was going to be edited or even disappear by this morning. I am even saddened that people have "Liked" it.
I'm not sure if that is moral support, political support, or the ideology of supporting free speech, which you all hopefully know I totally support. So I have "Liked" it myself based on free speech.

The one thing about this that truly hurts my feelings, as a friend, is that after writing it, at the end, you call me out and you challenge me to do what I will with it. Placing me in the awkward position with options of deleting your post and even banning you from the site. Wow.

I am not going to delete your post because I believe in free speech, but I am going to say how disappointed I am that you placed me in this position. I love you buddy!

:coffee: Carry on!
I thought this was a very wise, lucid, professional response. One clearly slept on and considered deeply. One that was revised internally, then reconsidered and reconsidered again. I agree with @Danimal, but @Mikie is what’s up around here.

Also...15 participants!? It seems like double that to me. I can barely keep up with all the postings as it is.

Also also...can’t there be a candidate with conservative values but who gives a damn about the environment? Where is that type of human being?

Also also also...Herzie is getting a YT Capra!

Not to get hung up on the numbers thing, but I think the flow of this place is damn near perfect. Small enough that everybody kind of gets to know each other, but not so small that it's sleepy. For what is essentially a regional forum I'd say there's a lot of active traffic, and more importantly, a sense of e-home.

74 members on in the last 4 hours, according to the stats on the forum homepage. Not very good at math but that's 5 times 15. Ish.

My bike (e?/moto?) is too heavy to lift over the barrier, so I fixed it (said someone who sucks no matter what type of bike they ride)

I use that opening , but someone who shall remain nameless refuses to ride through it on principle. :Roflmao

At first I thought it might have been the motos, but it's really not wide enough for them. And the moto go-around has been there forever (off camera to the right).
