One of these days, Chippy...

200,000 is a nice start nice... 300,000 is ok, too. I've still yet to see one of the big 3 go as far as the mightiest (using certain metrics :whistling:) truck of all time. Stupid thing had like 750,000 miles on it the last we heard of it... It might still be going for all I know.

There's one in RSM... I may have to stalk the guy and see how many miles he has.

This is the same color as the one I learned to drive a stick on...

I drove one of these as a parts delivery vehicle for a VW dealer. Hated that car/truck/POS. Except for the 40 mpg it got with the diesel motor it had no redeeming qualities. I'd say it was in the 80 hp range, top speed was apx 54. Speed limit was 55 at the time, and still got a ticket. How? Coasting in Neutral down the Cajon pass, got to 63 and a speeding ticket. Certainly wouldn't get there in a gear on it's own.... ( see I still have issues with it after all these years :Roflmao).
Would I buy/drive one? Buy no. Drive, Off a cliff!

I'm starting to see why VW abandoned the American pickup truck market for the last 40 years. :cautious: :D

Isn't that more on you than him? Dogs will do what dogs do. You left it where he could get at it and it's MEAT fercryinoutloud. Good meat. He's a meativore. :whistling:

Maybe you should be in the cage...

And thank (insert favored deity) I won't be anywhere near there when he finishes "processing" it.

I met the guys who own Topanga Creek Outfitters and Rogue Journeymen earlier this year at a friend’s wedding .
Topanga Creek is a super cool bike shop that used to be a rehearsal space for the doors and some other bands in-yeah, Topanga. And, Rogue Journeymen is their leather work shop that they started to differentiate themselves from other LBS’.
The shop does Saturday rides each week.
Long story short, they’re rad dudes (and dog) and I’ll be checking in with them next time I need a new bike.
(They did hook me up with these handmade card wallets)
Definitely check them out the next time you ride backbone!

Cool, thanks for the mention. These guys are in my back yard, and I'd never heard of them. Will definitely check out the shop.
