That's nothing. When my sister lived in Tampa, she got to sit in her back yard and watch a gator climb into her neighbor's TENNIS COURT via a 20' fence.

Most people don’t realize just how wild Florida is... :D

I had a 5 footer that lived under my driveway for awhile... I always wondered where mom was. :cautious: Still the craziest thing ever was seeing our head maintenance guy chase one out of the high school courtyard at sunrise with a broom.

Some of you old-timers here will remember when the American alligator was placed on the endangered species list in 1973. It was removed from the list in 1987. Today, not only is it listed as a species of "least concern" but its range has more than doubled from its historical boundaries due to lack of hunting and climate change. Alligators can now be found in coastal areas as far north as Virginia.

Something has to take over when we wipe ourselves out.

Why do they call it Dry Lake?

Our new plaything a “94 Lance overcab camper! First off was a total cleaning, it’s in pretty good shape but we’ll DIY new upholstery, flooring and I may even paint the cabinets. We purchased this from our friend Katie, the wife of our dear friend Corey who passed away last year, so it means a lot that we now own it.
I’m imagining some sa-weet adventures ahead!

Yeah! Thanks Mike, I call this a marriage investment:thumbsup: I won’t do the massive RV thing because I don’t want the headache and they’re kind of ridiculous. This little guy was the perfect solution:)

This dinosaur showed up in the street as I was leaving for work yesterday and now he’s back this morning in our front yard!

If you’re on the Nextdoor app then post up there and see if any neighbors are missing it.

While I don’t actively post on Nextdoor it was very helpful during the fires a couple of years ago. Plus all the postings of llamas and peacocks on the loose were entertaining in our old hood. Now it’s just people posting mail thefts and complaints about fireworks being lit off in the new neighborhood. We moved from the country to the ghetto.
