A guy I ride with has something like this and it’s great to have on your ride, he’s helped people out in a fraction of time of a traditional pump/Co2 methods.

There is a lot of water vapour from jet engines in the stratosphere. Nothing new here, but may explain quite a bit about climate change. Remember it is not just water vapour, there are many components, the contrail is visible thanks to the water.
Happy trails in the high Chaparral and the costal sage scrub.

It's still baseball...the most boring spectator "sport" on the planet. :whistling: :gag:

Okay, other than golf. Or curling. Watching sports is utterly boring.

But other people see it differently. I get that.

Tell me I'm wrong. :laugh::laugh:

Well, for starters, golf & curling are not sports. They are an activity like darts & billiards.

I generally agree with you about baseball in the way it is played today. All they do is swing for the fences and most games are decided by who hit the most home runs. There’s very little strategy involved like the old days with the hit & run, squeeze bunt or skills needed where your main goal at the plate was to move the runner over to put him in scoring position. It’s a completely different game than the one I grew up playing.

Went to a hockey game last Friday. The second one I've been to and the second one I've ever watch. So I'm an expert now! Was fun to watch, was right near the plexiglass and those guys get smashed hard into it..yikes...kinda violent with blood spilled a couple of times on the ice.

Anyway, Ducks got creamed by the Wilds, 1-5.
Note to self; next time bring a warmer jacket...:ninja:... If by chance I ever go to a third game.

( And more fun than Base ball)

I’d rather watch paint dry.
Than watch baseball? Me too, most of the time.

All athletes try to play golf at some point in time or another. Most aren't very good at it. If the definition of sport is getting your body to do something extremely challenging with finesse, grace and reliable results while controlling your inner demons, then golf is a sport. But then, by that definition, so is playing a musical instrument. If your definition of sport involves aerobic activity, breathing hard and/or moving your body through space in some dramatic fashion, then golf is not a sport.

Curling is a drunken Canadian pass time that somehow got taken way too seriously. I think the rocks they use at the Olympic level cost around $5k each!

So I submit to you - the next greatest sport is....

Hobby Horsing.

Is there a not-drunken Canadian pastime? Asking for a friend... :whistling:

When we were young we would drink Lucky Lager by the case. Read the jokes and never get buzzed. I was in Canada at a campground and the bro campers would have to decide between milk and soda, not enough cash for beer. They liked the hard cider as it was cheaper. They did not have enough Canuks for Beer. And in BC you had to buy ice to chill the beer. So it would be about 7 Canuk bucks per 6 pack. I saw one sign on a brewery in Prince George. It said Cold Beer. I had to stop. It was the "Strange Brew" filming location.

I was camping at a lake, and was on the super plush trails. I came across a ranger. He said you dont want to ride out there. The Moose were drunk, they eat the ripe berries that have fermented and get real dangerous.
Happy trails in the Canadian outback eh.
