I'm glad that they jumped on the bus with the 44mm OS fork and with longer travel. I did this to my '18 FEX and it transformed the bike. Other than the switch from Sram Guide brakes to Shimano M6000, the spec list is basically the same. They did drop the Full Floater rear shock design, too and I am not sure why.
According to pinkbike, makes it lighter, stiffer, more tore clearance..

A colleague with a Master's Degree asked me today what "Ibid." means in my footnotes. Guess who was covering for me while I was on leave.

Thank goodness my job is not military or building bridges or pianos or rockets or airplanes or food.

One of these things just doesn't belong here.

And this just proves the anecdote that more "education" does not necessarily improve one's ability to think. What did this colleague "master" in said degree? Underwater basket weaving? Social Ecology? Colleague is unable to master the dictionary, or Google????

I'm still here. I haven't been on my bike in a couple months. I picked up a second job in the evenings, so M-F is completely out for anything really. The weekend comes and all I want to do is rest... I'd like to think I'm going to get on my bike soon, (I really should, my blood sugar is suffering without exercise) but actually I'm looking for weekend work also, so who knows. That's what's going on with me...

That sucks. Sorry to hear that you are in a position where you feel you need three jobs. I won't presume to know your circumstances. I hope you get it sorted out to re-gain that physical/spiritual/mental balance that's needed to go along with the economic need.

Do some sunrise rides. Get some lights for your bike if you don't already have them and leave just before dawn. Early morning rides are awesome because most of the world is still asleep so there is peace to be had.

@-ROCKY-, I'm hoping you'll consider leaving a little time in your schedule for exercise and recreation. No big time sucks, just a quick ride here or there. Even a spin out your door. Doesn't have to be bike riding; do whatever is handy. Good luck!

In other news.... New shock for the Reign....or is it??

WTF... Coincidentally, @Cyclotourist is probably riding under that bridge right about now...

LADERA RANCH, Calif. (KABC) -- A 23-year-old woman was arrested on an attempted murder charge Friday after she allegedly grabbed a high school cross-country runner and tried to push him off of a bridge in Ladera Ranch, authorities said.

Stephanie Redondo, a transient, was taken into custody at the Crown Valley Parkway bridge and was being held on $500,000 bail, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded at about 4 p.m. to multiple calls of a person possibly attempting to jump off the bridge, officials said. An investigation indicated that Redondo allegedly assaulted two boys who were running in the area as part of the Capistrano Valley High School cross-country team.

"During the assault, the suspect grabbed one of the victims and attempted to push him over the bridge safety railing," a sheriff's statement said. "The victim and additional cross country team members were able to fight off the suspect."

No one was seriously injured in the incident, authorities said.

I went out on the front porch to turn on the front porch lights.
I was in shorts and barefoot. It’s dark out, I turned on the lights and I hear like misters or leaves rattling or something like it.

I look down and I’m about a foot and a half from a coiled rattlesnake on my front porch. I yelp and I guess I jumped back, not sure. He did not strike. Went down to the barn and got a Farmers Hoe. Had Cathy hold the flashlight and shoved him off the porch like in shuffle board. Took his head off with the hoe.

I’m pissed at myself for letting my guard down. Our canyon has not really had snakes in it for the last several years. Neighbors up the road have had 4 in their yard this year.

Every night I walk the dogs around the house before I put them in the shed during the summer.

Rattlesnakes change everything you do out side this time of year.

I’m still pissed. That was too close.

Glad it didn't strike and that you dispatched it. BTW, did you use a dirty cracked hoe?

Yikes, glad you didn't get tagged. You really have to piss em off though to get bit. I grew up there and your canyon was always loaded with snakes. As a teen I can't tell you how many of them I brought home for dad to prepare for our next meal. Now the thought grosses me out.
