SpaceX has the whole euphemism thingy down pat: According to them, the rocket experienced "a rapid unscheduled disassembly." :Roflmao:Roflmao:rolleyes:

It blew up.
Don't be surprised. It passed the test the moment it successfully exited the launch pad. There was a warning of an exciting ending before the launch occurred. The rocket was not meant to fly into space and it was clear by the way it was spiraling so it was only a matter of moments before the exciting part occurred.

New purgatory from spec

And once again it pays to live near a Greek Orthodox church. Free admission to and two free gyros at the annual Greek Festival across the street.

We're not Greek (0r any other) Orthodox, but so what. Food is good, music is good, and we get in for free, and it's a good cause for a good neighbor. And leukomathes!!!!

You should be so lucky.

*EDIT* We get in for free because we deal with the traffic, parking and noise (what little there is and it ends early enough). We still drop close to a hundred bucks (and enjoy it) over the weekend it happens!!!

When I was a kid, my dad would find me hiding in the closet (not a metaphor). He would then proceed to whip me with a belt through the house, out the door, and down the driveway until I got in the car to go to Greek folk dance practice in anticipation of performing at these festivals in full ethic 19th Century garb for you xenoi.

In retrospect, it was a perfectly normal Greek childhood, and those thousands of hops, skips, and jumps growing up contributed to my pedalability.

I came home one day after school and found my brother putting on multiple pairs of underwear.
‘What are you doing!?’ I asked.
His reply ‘I’m in trouble and dad’s going to be home soon’
lol

National News; earthquake swarm in So Cal. The swarm is near the Salton Sea. It is in the area surrounded by 6 steam plants where the DWP injects water on the top of the mid oceanic ridge creating steam. the steam is used to drive turbines. the turbines make electricity. Nobody mentions 5X to 10x more quakes where the City of SF injects water on the top of an inactive volcano. they average 350 quakes a week.
Happy Sunday to you

Nah....the concert tickets themselves really aren't that expensive.....it's the 700% Service Fee that Ticketmaster/LiveNation add to every ticket that makes them expensive.

This is true, I checked out a concert was interested in and it was $3300 on ticketmaster. Pretty sure the original ticket was $100 or so.
If I was interested in traveling out of state and buying months ahead would have been only a few hundred.
So, haven't been back to TM, it's a scam IMO.
