Go (Banana) SLUGS!!!!
From what I've seen so far, they should be called the Wild Turkeys! But she has also got up close and personal with multiple deer, so maybe The Does!

Did she take a bike?

More specifically... Did she take the gray Santa Cruz Highball, or will it soon be up for sale in the classified section? :whistling:

No bike so far... decided that she needs to move there and figure out what she needs first. There is NOTHING flat on that campus! But they have trams/busses and walking through their sylvan forests is quite magical... why rush it by riding a bike!?!?!

And that gray Highball happens to be my size...

So here's my best-case scenario: She's an enviro sci major. She interns with Santa Cruz bikes. Gets picked up by them and works with carbon capture technology and other enviro-good stuff. Does that, rides bikes, eventually moves up the ladder at Pon, moves to Euro-zone, changes the world. Gets me free bikes and a place to stay in Amsterdam!

Ooh! Enviro Sci! I can hire her to write Environmental Impact Reports for warehouse developments in the Inland Empire! She could move to Fontana and get you a job as a forklift operator during the graveyard shift!

Funny I was an environ sci guy. Back then the only job was marking trees in the forest. I do not do clear cutting even if in the long run it makes a healthier forest. With it does, as do fires but nobody wants to see burnt trees, and nobody has a few hundred years to see how well that worked out
Happy trails in climax forests

There was no environment or climate those days. Happy progressive trails.

Hey, I went there! Look at me now!!!

I think my brother-in-law did his masters in environmental sci. He gets to hike and tell people how to do controlled burns for a job. So, probably a pretty sweet major.

Successes, each and every one of you!!!

Congratulations on her accomplishment!! My daughter is in her Senior year at UCSB and I wonder where the time went. They grow up way to fast.

Kids doing the right thing, it's kinda' nice!

I’m jealous of your front porch! I’ve always wanted one you can lounge on.

That's awesome! What a great area to ride/live. Was there last summer, checked out the SC store and Demo forest riding and another great trail by the ocean and closer to campus.
