I spent a miserable week one July in Sarasota. By 10 am it was 98 on the beach. No breeze. Couldn't even sit under the beach umbrella for more tha 10 minutes. It was hell.

Had to get in the car and go to Bradenton to see the museum, and the manatee named Snooty, just for the A/C.

Visiting a friend at Eglin Airplane Patch in the 1980s in February - the weather was tolerable that week.

I will never understand how people can live in Florida. :gag::gag::eek:
