slugs will work well too!

I think NY requires slugs, outlaws real rounds and shot. Something to do with population density.

You are correct... slugs for deer. And I believe it's still limited to 12, 16, or 20 gauge. No .410 with its rifle-like range. There are alternative seasons for black powder, bow, and pistol, but no rifle... The only time a rifle is allowed is a .22 for small game. I had many a squirrel stew that way... Or the even better squirrel and rabbit stew. :inlove:

The really alternative season that is open year round is vehicle season. The population is so out of control that I, literally, do not know anyone who hasn't hit one... If you choose to keep it, law enforcement has special tags. If not, there's a butcher on call who will prepare it for the needy. I got my first deer that way at 16 with my mom's Thunderbird... Dad was not happy!

I was forced to flag a Strava entry made by a local 15 yr-old sophomore because he didn't delete it on his own knowing the KOM he claimed was a glitch because there is no way to hit 43.5 mph on this 1-degree DH sprint without a motor or a 50 x 10 road bike drivetrain. I call shenanigans! Unfortunately, he was at his high school practice, and his teammates saw and commented on the original post. I feel like I just picked a fight with a trail gang.

Don’t you use a phone to record? Equally as unreliable as whatever his glitch was.

Granted; however my fastest time is within the standard set by the top ten, and I did it on three occasions.

Edit: anybody with a 32 or 34 chainring can take the crown as long as you can manage the ramp up to flat section at speed without going OTB or over the edge on the other side.

Maybe get in touch with the coach or Athletic dept head. Are high school sports meant to teach sportsmanship and integrity?
You know, really stick it to the little liars.

My buddy Dante is on the coaching staff. He tells me they don’t worry about the Strava like us old guys who need the ego boost do….that they probably didn’t notice it was an anomaly.

Wooo! I got one!
