What I chowed for the day:
Breakfast: 1) Apple 1) Celery Sticks Red Bell Pepper Slices and 240z Iced Green Tea
Lunch: 2) Hard Boiled Eggs, 1) 8.4 fl. oz. IZZE Sparkling Apple something-er-rather
Dinner: 2) El Pollo Loco Chicken Thighs 1) Small Diet Coke
Ride: P12 Fat Burner 17.5 miles 2,524 elevation 2hrs 11mins Calories: 1,503 burned
I've mentioned my weight loss 100 times, but I usually skip the part about losing way too much muscle mass... It was great to go from 300 to 190, but I could barely open a soda can when I bottomed out. At that point, I incorporated a little strength training to go with all the cardio, and I make sure that the protein intake is always pretty high versus the carbs and fats.
Breakfast is light today...There are usually a couple eggs in that spot.

Weight this morning after my usual breakfast of 1.25 cups plain shredded wheat with a handful of blueberries, topped with unsweetened almond milk, and coffee....drum roll please...

Close enough. Water variations alone can account for over a pound of difference during the course of the day.
What did it for me was what did it for me before. Started running again. Cycling alone just won't get me there.
Awesome Bud! ...And thanks for reviving this thread.When I initially saw this thread I thought to myself this is posted every year. But what do I do? Nothing of course. I love food. But after one too many rides of me feeling like my belly was bouncing off my thighs as I pedaled I figured it was time to lose some weight. Not sure exactly when I started but I know I was 237 at the beginning of the year. This morning after my morning I stepped on the scale and I was 220. I lost 10 pounds just over the last month when I really started cracking down. No more second helping at dinner and I cut out some carbs during the day. Other than that my diet has been the same. My goal is 205 by the end of the summer and I'm confident I can do it. If it matters I am an XL frame and anything less than 200 pounds I look anorexic.
WOW! Awesome!5/22/16: When this started in late March I was at 172 or so. Today I'm at 159. I feel great.
